Do I really need counselling?
You might be wondering if you’ve got enough of a problem with alcohol or drugs to really need counselling.
Am I an alcoholic, you might be thinking?
The fact that you are looking at this site suggests that you’re having some problems with alcohol, so undoubtedly some counselling would help you to make the changes you want.
If it doesn’t help you, then we offer a full refund, guaranteed. Different people have different needs, obviously. Some people only need one session. What others find useful is to have a session every now and then, every time they find their levels of use going up, or if they have a crisis. You know yourself best and can decide how often or how many sessions you want.
But some people will need more intensive sessions of course. To find out if you have a serious problem or not, there’s a couple of things you can do.
Firstly, you can fill out our free consultation form, which tells us a bit more about you and your addiction. One of the counsellors will then give you a personal assessment by email of what you could possibly do to change things, and how we could help you achieve that.
Alternatively you could take a test to see how bad your alcohol use has become. This doesn’t offer quite the level of understanding of the consultation though.
