Re: Anyone Over 50 Here?

A couple of years back I seem to have quite a few memories that I'd never remembered before come back to me. Usually the really cringeworthy ones, not necessarily because I was drunk at the time, which almost makes it worse, one memory when I wasn't drunk, I just though, 'so that was what was going ...

Re: Cooking: good food tips, links & ingredients

Lovely photo Rachel, mmmm and plenty of pepper too (apparently not only does it enhance the dish it also helps digest some nutrients). Healthy delicious food is very cheering - even more so if you've grown it yourself! I like to think of livers getting nice and clean which in turn lifts our mood. Ri...

Ah, lovely and very useful blanket. I bet that felt good when you finally got it all done (::) I started a clanger a while back and I still haven't finished. Still needs the eyes and the clothes. Re: Animal Companions (aka Pets)

:D It reminds me of when our cat was walking up the path outside our house stalking a bird. He was doing that slow low walk they do focussed intently on the bird. I wanted him in the house and crept up behind him. He nearly jumped out of his skin when I got hold of him

Thanks for this pickles. Amy Winehouse was incredibly talented, absolutely love her 'Valerie' song. Such a sad loss of such amazing ability.

Re: Stopping Smoking

I'm also an e-cig fan and have been very interested to read the articles put on here by newtie. I gave up smoking (twice - first time for nearly 10 years and then again hopefully for good - getting to old for this!). The second giving up was made so much easier with ecigs, I actually enjoyed vaping ...
