Re: Generalised Anxiety (GAD) or Excessive Worry

Thank you TC my dear friend, for your lovely supportive reply. Its funny but i also feel happy with our government decision, it must be very tough for them trying to get on top of this extreme problem. I feel better for a little cry and talking about pent up feelings. Things are much worse for many ...

Re: What Has Made You Happy/Angry/Sad/Proud/Grateful Today?

Although this thread doesn’t say POSITIVE, I’m coming in to say, I’m feeling positive, for the first time in about 3 months. \:)/ That is lovely to read fiz <:)> I wish you all good things lovely lady. Lets look at the daffodils and crocus that are pushing through, despite the storms, and know we a...

Re: Animal Companions (aka Pets)

Many thanks for your kind hugs and understanding dear BE friends <:)> I know many members have sadly lost pets recently and it is part of having animals, they have to leave us at some stage. Rightly or wrongly i needed another couple of days with our sweet Shadow cat, to say goodbye properly and giv...

Re: Animal Companions (aka Pets)

Our lovely black 17 year old Shadow cat has end stage kidney disease. The vet wanted to put him down today after trying to rehydrate him last 2 days on drip.

I said no and took him home with me. I really can't bear losing this cat yet. He's too special

Re: Depression, Bipolar and Other Personality Issues.

Thanks for that Sally <:)> I must admit i do feel proud for managing to use the phone and averting anything worse. I would not have drank but i was feeling highly distressed and in self destruct mode. Learning to manage mental health problems over the years has been very similar to managing alcoholi...

Re: Depression, Bipolar and Other Personality Issues.

Something happened and i reacted badly and extremely, resulting in me storming off in the rain and needing to phone crisis team to calm down. Thankfully it helped. Da...

Re: Animal Companions (aka Pets)

Since my little female cat was put to sleep i have been offered 2 cats on two separate occasions. One is the sweet male rescue cat that my daughter and i nursed in Crete last September. He was scalded with acid or something similar by a cruel local and as part of our pet sitting service we had to cl...
