Re: Regrouping

Morning guys, Sorrty I've been quiet again. I've been back drinking every day for the last week or so. Not sure why. I got a letter through the week before last for an endoscopy appt on the 21st. So that's this Thursday! Not sure if my brain has decided that maybe if I go back to drinking every day,...

Re: Regrouping

You're not whining Debs. It's better to get your thoughts and feeling out and this is the perfect place for that. Its really difficult with work as it's such a massive part of our lives. You've got to weigh everything up and if there are more negatives than positives consistently, then maybe it's ti...

Re: Regrouping

Morning all, So Lockdown 3 is here. Can't say I'm surprised unfortunately. I don't think many people have any confidence in the rules our government have been setting so most haven't followed them. Everything has been so wishy washy and confusing! Anyway...... I'll try not to get wound up by it. Not...

Re: Regrouping

Morning guys, Yes I've been doing the lateral flow tests sleepy. Just done one this morning. They're not as accurate as the proper tests and if we have a positive result, we then have to go and have a proper one. So far all negative for me though. How are you and your daughter feeling now? Hope you'...

Happy Xmas Eve lovely groupie folk πŸ˜ŠπŸŽ„ I'm definitely not staying sober for the next few days but am not beating myself up about it. Re: Regrouping

Hey everyone, How are we all doing? I've had a bit of stress with the house move. Solicitor called to day the date could be pushed back as far as April!! Re: Regrouping

Good evening guys, Thank you Debs 😊 Here's a <:)> back for you too. It is like an extra bit of family being on here. But with that added anonymity which means it's easier to be open about our issues with drinking. I've never tried an AA meeting because of them being face to face. For me, there's a h...

Re: Regrouping

Morning guys, And a big fat <:)> to you Sleepy. It sounds like you've been going through a lot! The fact that you're back here talking about it is brilliant. Tests were negative \:)/
I knew they would be. It's just that little bit of niggling doubt!
Son is still coughing so still off school. I've had another sick day as we didn't sleep very well again last night.

Hope everyone is doing OK. It seems quiet on here x

Re: Regrouping

Hmmm, that's annoying when you've been out all day Debs. Especially if they've been home for most of that time?? Hope you managed to rustle up a decent bit of dinner. Re: Regrouping

Hey guys, Luckily I like sweet potatoes too Tarzan. Made quite a nice pud from juice from a fresh orange, stew some dried apricots in the juice, add to a blender with cooked sweet potatoes and coconut cream. It was surprisingly yummy πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹ Maybe not quite the same as a proper trifle or cheese cake thou...
