Re: Sober January

I've just started Alcohol Lied to Me by Craig Beck. Never tried any proper quit lit before the only other thing I've read was a book by Russell Brand Freedom from our Addictions. I did quite enjoy this more than I thought I would taking into consideration how irritating I often find him and that it ...

Re: Sober January

Feeling very out of sorts so have opted for bed. Harkwell I don't have any specific ideas, however would suggest that you both write a list of things that you think you would like to do. Needs to be an honest list though not one full of things that you think you should be wanting to do, for example ...

Re: Sober January

I have had some stretches AF but definitely could do better. Beauty of life is we can draw a line under the past and look forward to achieving whatever our current goals maybe. For me at the moment it's dry Jan and happy to be doing so with everyone on here. ;)?

Re: General Support and Chat

Some folk will recall I had an awful year with depression and anxiety due to a work issue. The two folk involved that didn't want to work with me have seen how I am with my staff and how supportive I am and have since told other members of the team that they wished they worked for me!! Also, my own...

Re: Regrouping

Morning all When I go I love the gym my two favourite classes are spin and body pump and I love weight training too. There's something that I find very satisfying about pushing myself and then have very achy muscles the next day to show for it. Unfortunately, I haven't been for months and can't seem...

Re: Regrouping

Evening All Sleepyb my Dad died 11 years ago and I spiralled out of control too alcohol wise at the time too although I did not really realise that was what caused my downward spiral as it was years until I started to sort it out. Since I have managed a few long stints and in the lead up to my Mum d...
