Re: Two Week Challenge

Hey BC, Good news on the blood tests. I have to have regular ones to check my lithium level and I always get them to perform the full gamut of tests, and the liver function and kidney functions have always come back fine, somehow. We are clearly resiliant types, us humans :? Good luck on with your c...

Re: Depression, Bipolar and Other Personality Issues.

Hi Sandy, Apologies - missed this thread! The OCD is not too bad under normal circumstances, but comes to the fore when I am stressed. It's always there in a mild sense - for example, I always like the volume on TV/car radio/etc to be on a even number. Normally managable, though. I've been on lithiu...

Re: Late lounge (& other non-UK locations...)

Looe is gorgeous - love it! Last time I was there we stayed in a farmhouse about two miles outside the town, don't remember the name. Just working it out its 10 years this summer since I was last there. Time flies :?

The Sailor always used to be packed (middle of summer) so never really went there.

Re: Late lounge (& other non-UK locations...)

Hey all, BC - good to hear things are going well, and you know it just gets better and better! Ant - Don't believe it, I've had three holidays in Looe - there and Polperro are my favourite places in the UK for holidays, such glorious scenery. Having said that, the last time I didn't see much of it, ...

Re: Late lounge (& other non-UK locations...)

Makes it all the better. Just goes to show, they can't lose graciously! Withdrawal was pretty uncomfrotable with sweats, poor sleep, and I got the shakes really bad. In all, it was day 4 before I started to feel normal again, but it has just got better and better since then, so definitely worth it! ...
