Re: The First 7 Days

So I'm back here after a less than sober six months... bottle a day - more if I go out... trying to not drink till October. I have a redness on my face which I am sure is booze related - I have a lot on and I'm sick and tired of feeling sick and tired.... hoping I can do it....

Re: Two Week Challenge

Re: The First 7 Days

think being ill can be a blessing in disguise (though do wish you better)... I cried and felt terrible for first seven days but found focussing and embracing (almost!) my misery rather than trying to push it away made things easier... so many things came to the core I couldn't face many people as I ...

Re: The First 7 Days

I'm on Day 12 now - can't quite believe it - been emotional (to say the least)... all emotions surfaced for the first week and I think I cried non stop (but sort of helped).... think Day 5 was the hardest (if that helps).. it is getting easier

Re: Two Week Challenge

Anyone else dreamt that they had a drink and woke up disappointed with themselves - only to realise I haven't - keeps happening to me.. feeling SO much better and sleeping like a baby - working like a trojan only thing is all those millions of calories I consumed via alcohol.... I'm not exactly losi...

Re: October General Support and Chat

HI CCW.... you sound very similar to me.... am good for a few days and then have a full on wipe out... just go a bit mad.. not sure there is a solution - not cool on abstinence but what is the other option. Re: The First 7 Days

Hi Libelula (great name!), Yes I've made the great statements time and time again (even on facebook)... saying I will give up for a month etc etc and the fact that nobody even comments is rather telling (they know I won't do it)... I think you are amazing - there is no way I could have a "slip" that...
