Re: The To Do List

Congratulations, John! Danny that must be frustrating and worrying. My mother would be able to empathize (apparently sibling is currently homeless and living in a tent. Mother rang her while I was up there.) I hope her journey isn't too terrible for them. Jjj that sounds a bit annoying. You may have...

Re: Depression, Bipolar and Other Personality Issues.

Danny <:)> If it is a vitamin/mineral deficiency and they prescribe you something, the affects can be quite speedy. (Although I realize you were probably referring to actually having the blood tests and results.) It's really hard sometimes to distinguish between tiredness and depression. For me they...

Re: The To Do List

I hope the doctor's goes ok, Danny. I have been to the doctor's several times in the last 7 years about tiredness. I have had the following responses: suggestions that I am depressed (did my best to convince that wasn't depressed, leading to on some occasions, but not others) blood test - vitamin D ...

Re: The To Do List

How on earth do you shake a mattress? I am assuming it's not a chunky King Sized one. It's hard enough shaking king sized duvets :) I was just looking at mattress toppers. But if I get one, then my sheets won't fit anymore. Maybe I should just force the new mattress event. But when I said I really r...

Re: The To Do List

Chocolate kittens always left me feeling a little ambivalent, jjjj! (We sometimes got these.) I wasn't entirely deprived of chocolate. My parents were just funny about eggs ('pagan') so we would have a chocolate orange. My grandma might have given us eggs. But we certainly didn't get huge stashes as...

Re: The To Do List

Nobody sings about Bromley, Jjjjjj. Except possibly Bowie? I like to think he was thinking of it/Beckenham when he wrote the soundtrack for the Buddha of Suburbia, at least. (A (very little) bit of that was filmed at the station I use to travel to work.) I managed to do one or two things yesterday,...

I have just moved them somewhere with a bit more light. They are in a heated propagator. When do you think I should taken them out of the heat?

Re: Captured Moments (Photography)

Ooh lovely. I bought an assortment of sunflower seeds too, including some deep orange and dark red ones, but not started yet. Last year husband (I am trying to enroourgae him to get into gardening) just put them in willy nilly in a window box and I spent ages pricking them out (sorry about all the x...

What are they, Pork? Are they outside? I have some coming up in my heated propagator. Wondering when to take out.

Re: The To Do List

Is 'exercise for 60 minutes' crossed out or crossed off, Pork?! I should have written my to do list last night as I know I had a lot to do today last night. But today... Lethargy and extreme tiredness is fogging my to do list-making faculties. but to do: shower and get dressed. I ought to tidy my ro...

Re: The To Do List

I don't have energy, Danny. I run entirely on stamina after about 11am. edit: stamina... maybe just grim determination Today I am so tired that I feel like crying. (Again.) The potting out is not particularly arduous, as you know, but really not my favourite job and it did hurt my back. I wanted to ...

Re: The To Do List

Sounds nice, John! This morning before work (!) I potted on 10 plants and fed the birds. Basil woke me very early and wouldn't let me go back to sleep so got up earlier than I wanted to. Pleased to see some seeds are coming up in my propagator (which I keep calling an incubator. I am turning into my...

Re: The To Do List

I guess I knew that, Danny :) I am afraid didn't have much sense of humour yesterday. Was so tired and tense. Massive ongoing arguments with husband over him pursuing jobs in other (non commutable) towns for low salaries are not helping my mood or energy levels :(

Damn time to go to work.

Re: The To Do List

Macdonalds. Hmm. Long-time vegetarian, junk food disliker here. Plus probably a tad disappointing to come all the way down from Scotland to go to a MacD's. I am still feeling frazzled and tense this morning. Re non-judgmental... well actually I don't know whether she is or not, as she doesn't say mu...
