Re: Animal Companions (aka Pets)

I thought it was a big mouse but my boyfriend said it's a rat, apparently you can tell the difference by the tail, rats have ridges ones and mice tails are much thinner and smaller. For me too it means the big mouse acorn brought up to the bathroom last year was a rat! X

Re: Mostly Sober

Hello all, positive posts, great to see. Well the go-karting was an experience, much harder and faster than i had anticipated. The steering was quite hard so I thought I had RSI in my fore-arm after less than 15 minutes and the concentration is incredible. I've always wanted to do it but i have to s...

Re: Mostly Sober

So, for mostly sober, I did three days af which was my goal for last week, same for next week. Had drinks on Friday so had over hang as I call it on Saturday so I was envious of those who didn't have! My fault! Re: Regrouping

Hello everyone, hanging in there as we all are! Tadders, I was also going to say maybe it's a aura of confidence that you have right now. Good stuff, keep it going, it's clearly paying off. Personally, I think people - mostly the younger ones dare I say - these days really need to live in the moment...

Re: Anyone Over 50 Here?

I've heard of people wanting someone to buy them a drink in a pub but not in a supermarket, sounds like a good wheeze! I'm 51. I like the comment about more opportunities for a laugh as we get older, sounds about right in my neck of the woods!

Re: Personal Goals

Hey goalies, Great post Want2b. I'm 51 and busy working from home and i need to get myself motivated to go to the gym for step class at 5pm then body pump, then hope to be too whacked for anything else.
