For me it would be 'drink, be ill and kickstart the obsession'. I enjoyed some cold Appletiser with the dinner and a lovely da...

Re: What Has Made You Happy/Angry/Sad/Proud/Grateful Today?

Morning Ruby, thanks for your kind words <:)>

Another good remedy is fresh ginger cut into pieces and boiled for about 5-10 mins. Then sieve the the water, add some honey and this makes a soothing drink for the throat. It has calming effects too ;)?

Re: interacting with people who drink

I think you must be super-keen to put up with him smoking! That would be a deal breaker for me! Haha Sally this made me chuckle. I think i'm more mortified at how much he likes sport, i can put up with the smoking. Trying not to show too much keenness just yet ;) 8-) Thanks for you reply. I think i...

Re: interacting with people who drink

Soooooo. I'm in a newish situation of navigating a relationship with a man who drinks (moderately it seems) but smokes like a chimney. Thankfully he appears totally accepting of my non drinking and non smoking. It was a bit awkward on a night out last Saturday drinking water all evening and i did wo...

Re: Running and Walking Club

Hi Ruby, TC, Pickles and everyone :\:

Been really missing some nice firm ground to walk on. Everywhere is so damp and muddy, so haven't been venturing too far. Just a regular walk through the park to get to v.work. Would love to escape for a proper hike once the weather improves ;)?
