i went outside breathed in some air, calmed my mind, came in and poured it away
it was just having it in my hand unexpectedly threw me a curveball
wow, i feel weird, kinda triumphant and regretful at the same time.

oh god, doing so well, on day 4 and the shops are shut... and cleaning up some of the empty cans littering the place i've found a full one. it's sitting infront of me.. i'm looking at it... i want to drink it so much...

thanks clovis.. just been down road to our local shop, didn't buy drink and the guy who works there asked me why? i said i'd given it up and he asked me for how long.. i said forever. so now i can't just nip down the road for alcohol if i feel tempted ... knowing i have a mile and a half walk to the...

WARNING ... MASSIVE SELF PITYING MOAN ( please feel free to ignore) so.... just seen that i've been a member of this site for 4 years... and allthough i've been away for vast chunks (drinking) it's made me realise that in those 4 years i've probably only had 30 days in total sober. hi, been away for a while... yeah drinking... lots... . but am back and on day two. They say you have to reach rock bottom and i'm close, lost pretty much everything apart from my home and that seems on the cards next so... i'm sick of failing at stopping, but am giving it one more chance. peace tj

right, here i am back on the 7 day challenge after over 2 months sober. that last 'just one night' lead to two weeks drinking then a few days where i just couldn't bring myself to stop... more 'just one more nights'.
