Hi canary

You are like sunshine on this site. your little smilies make me laugh so much - smiling is good distraction from drinking I think. :D

It must be pasta night - thats what I made for my sons dinner.

Just finished fish pie, making camomile tea. Might have to hunt down chocolate after that!

I want ginger chocolate now! Actually what I want is that Green and Black's mayan gold stuff. Mmmm. Elderly souvenir chocolate will have to do!

Bad news chaps and chapettes,
Our Master Chef has lost his internet connection and cannot be here until he regains it. He says he will still be cooking for you all its just that you won't be able to taste it. He sends his love and best wishes to one and all - and especially to Mike, who he feels he has let down. "Sorry Guv".

Nooo. Not Tesco's. Please not Tescos... Let's all boycott Tescos.

Perhaps we should all learn to cook and take turns in the kitchen? Crispy Jelly sounds like fun; topped with cheese perhaps and finished off under the grill?

wow, sounds good. I did lose 2.5 pounds last week at weightwatchers, but am in France and the moment so couldn't get weighed today! Have been trying to stay good on my hols and been for lots of walks, tried not to go mad with the food (not had any ice cream for example when everyone else seems to be having it EVERY DAY). If there is any justice in the world I shouldn't put weight on as I've hardly had any booze, but I only have to look at food ... So I think I will have a piece of your delicious sounding pie tonight and get back on the (food) wagon tomorrow!
