The view is stunning TC. And the food doesn't look so bad either.

Well it took a while but I have those callouses Iroquois. Now it actually feels good (in a painful kind of way) to practise. And while I'm no pro I can always get better. As a hobby it sure beats the hell out of drinking. The more you practise the better you get. I look at it as an investment of time.

So now playing at the Late Lounge we have we have Montana Malteser with JJ and Cowboy on geetar, Iroquois on piano and Missychief and TC on vocals. We are currently seeking a drummer and a bassist. Also, any other musically inclined candidates are also welcome. No need to apply and/or interview. Just show up.

More news on our first show to come.

Hi folks ;) surely we can find a drummer and bassist for this weird little band - Montana Malteser ;)
- and as for a performance, if anyone mentions 'Don't Stop Believin'' I'll quit!
It's not perfect - but it's mine....

Musical differences already? ;)

Being the Lounge, it has to be a tea-chest bass - finest Kenya leaf, of course ;)?

Last week was the first time I heard “Baby Shark” because a little fella came over, his name is Axle, and he loooooooooves the song! He is my honorary grandson, and he and my granddaughter, Hadyn, danced to the annoying delightful little tune with abandon!

We won’t be playing that one! Will we? :( :?

How about some campfire songs? Along with charcoal marshmallows on a stick? If you like your carbon a little lighter, toasty brown ones are ok too! Along as we have a campfire, how about some 🌭🍔🥓🍳? And for TC 🌽🥬🥕🧀! Does a kitty do dairy?

There’ll be a hot time in the old town tonight!

Definitely! ;)?

I love the way the band is shaping up! Good going, everyone! (::)

Deanna, Baby Shark is a song I have heard of but never actually listened to. I have no idea how I've managed to miss it. The grace of God, I guess!

For the first set I will be doing a cover of the Eagles song Desperado. It's a wonderful ballad about a cowboy who drinks too much and decides after many decades wandering kinda lost out on the prairies comes in out of the cold and decides to quit a life of drinking and begin the long journey into sobriety. Sound familiar? At least that's my interpretation. Not sure how to cut and paste the YouTube version but it's pretty easy to find if anyone wants a preview.

Have a great sober day loungers.

Ooh yes, I could go for Desperado too - if its played on the radio I have to sit in the car still its over, late for work or not. Hotel California gets me like that too. Perhaps we could do Baby Shark as an encore, just to cheer ourselves up ;) (Shall I get my coat now then........?)

Hi, hope all our loungers (and band members) are relaxing by the fire right now, aching feet up in a bean bag and hot choc by their side <:)> Not far from what I am trying to do in RL, but with a dog with a low level ear issue that keeps coming to tell me her problems every two minutes!
