Well, as much as I find the parody of our lounge paper amusing and do have a good giggle it's Sky news that have had me laughing the most

Not as bad as they are made out to be, hey

Hello!

Any good stuff to eat in here? Cinnamon rolls? ;)? (::) \:)/

Banana bread? I need to use up my bananas that are turning a bit black! I'll put in walnuts and butterscotch chips! Who wants some?

Drinking coffee, being lazy and needing to bake!

How about some nice pancakes for breakfast/supper - depending on the time zone?

Yes!

I'll have a stack! Of pancakes! A bit of sausage and maybe an egg to top it off!

When I was little, that was how my parents got me to eat an egg! In this order: pancake, butter, sugar, repeat, egg! I just had a hard time eating yolks, but I was a puny little thing, so they thought I needed a whole egg!

Oh, dear, what I wouldn't give for a farm fresh, just out of the nest egg today!

Sigh! :? :| :(

Chocolates!

For the first time during the Super Bowl the other day, I saw an ad for the Take Five bar! If you have never tried this candy bar, just do it! Best thing since sliced bread! It is pretty much a take on Snickers with pretzels and the salt/sweet is phenomenal!

Hello, Michigan here. I’m a hot mess and haven’t started my stopping yet. I really want to, cuz I’m tired of feeling the way I do. It’s been nice though to read all the inspiring stories around here, and in the last couple of days reading them, I am feeling more of a glimmer of hope.
Not sure what to do, just reading stuff, checking out the threads and feeling like I’m walking around the shore of a lake endlessly trying to choose a good spot to jump in from. But there’s a thick fog and rocks lining the shore.

Marigold, you can do it!

We all had to climb a few rocks and trudge forward through the fog! Jump in! The water's nice!

I wrote a little ditty about the SMART handbook in the New Members thread! Give that a try to get started, The book is very informative and gives you plenty of space to write down your very own plan of action! Less than $10 at online book stores! BE and that book really got me to the "I can do this" phase!

Go get some good food in, some good AF beverages! So many of us on BE swear by bubble water or Club Soda as a booze substitute~ I still have a glass of bubbly water on ice every evening at the witching hour! Fill your tummy and the cravings will subside!

You are from Michigan? Good! Bad weather there right now, right? Order some good food through a Delivery Service, ya know, Wally!

Good luck!

Welcome to the Lounge Marigold <:)> Lovely dog ;)?

Wise words from Deanna (Iroquois). Stopping is tough, but plan it first by getting lots of supplies in and keep mind and body occupied (although rest is important too). Think of it as a good excuse to really pamper yourself <:)>

Chilly morning here in the UK so a nice hot breakfast is in order.
