Smevening all.
Haven’t really wobbled tonight but going to my mums Sunday which I associate with drinking loads of red wine by her fire whilst she makes me food and generally looks after me and I have the week off next week so challenging times ahead.
Essay you’re off to Ireland aren’t you? Will that be a challenge or you feeling confident? We go to Ireland a fair bit and I know how those trips normally pan out

Yep Sleepy - off early in the morning (which is about the only thing keeping me away from the wine tonight). I'm really looking forward to the week - not least because the company is so good I don't feel the need to drink.

In fact, the more my host (wherever I go) drinks, the less I am likely to join in, as I am too scared of loosing control in front of others. For me, boredom is a big trigger and drinking at home, with OH, is my main downfall, and I can for the most part resist drinking in company.

Let's all mark this up as yet another AF weekend - including Sunday, Sleepy <:)>

Yep my downfall is drinking on my own, that’s when it gets out of hand though I do also enjoy acdrink out and about but I am often fairly controlled in front of others.
I remember my first trip to Ireland to the tiny village OHs family live, I was astounded and so happy that the local stayed open til basically the last person finished their last drink which was usually the following morning. This was pre kids, jesus I do not know how I kept up. I definitely couldn’t do it now.
I am glad that your trip will be slightly more sober.
I hope you have a lovely time. Keep in touch if you have 5 mins here and there to spare xx

Morning guys
Not been on for a few days sorry. Been really busy.
I've managed a mostly AF week since that 1 bottle of cider slip up. Had a tiny glass of prosecco on Thurs for a friend's bday gathering but otherwise have been ok. Working this weekend so that helps.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Morning!

At work and feeling pretty fresh. Finishing around 2 today so that’s a bonus.

What’s up sleepy? Hope the blues float away.

Morning all. Massive blip on Friday, two bottles of wine, lots of rubbish eaten. Obv felt rough yesterday and what little I ate was rubbish too. Today I will have to set to work and make up for lost time. But for all said and done, I’m getting back in the sober saddle ;)?

Nice one spats. When I have my blios, there continue to be more than I would like to have to manage, I feel so bloody awful for a while that I almost view them as ‘reminders from above’ as to just how poisonous this stuff is . What also strikes me is just how terrible I feel mentally and physically. In times past I seemed to love my life in a constantly hung over state. How the hell dis I manage that?!

Glad to hear you’re jumping straight back in to sobriety. Best way isn’t it.

Sorry.

Several phone typos.

Blips not bilos, and in times past I don’t think it was
‘Love’ that I was experiencing whist hung over...live not love for that one!

Morning. Beaut day here.
Off to my mums later. This normally equals wine but I’m going to try hard! She has literally just texted me to say I’m off to shops shall I get wine.
I said no but problem is she does live within walking distance of shops if I were to wobble and change my mind later!
Any exciting plans anyone?

Hey sleepy.

I’d find that really hard to be honest. Hope you enjoy the day whatever happens.

I’m at work and then gym after. I haven’t been for over a week now due to being upside down post nights and a few awful slips. So today will be a struggle. After that it’s a sauna and then home. I bought some new furniture recently so pretty skint atm (thank god as less money to spend on wine!)

Sauna sounds nice though tad, sweat out out that poison.
If I do drink later I’m sure I’ll enjoy it. It’s just tomorrow I won’t enjoy and meant to be going into Brighton so must not ruin it for myself!

I know that feeling exactly sleepy! I also can’t deny that I love drinking most of the time whilst drinking. That’s why it’s so hard to refrain I guess.

Thanks Tad! Am indeed feeling fresh (ish).
Bus into Brighton today, no driving required so could be another potential danger time if we go somewhere nice for lunch.
Are you ok? Everyone else alright? Xx

Arrrggghhhh!!!

I’m having a nightmare of a day. I’m literally shaking with it. Trying to stay calm.

How’s Brighton sleepy? Think I need to be near a beach soon.
