When I was a teenager and was a member in good standing of the Columbia Record Club, I ordered an album by the Mystic Moods Orchestra named "One Stormy Night" and one of the tracks was the theme from Tristan & Isolde. Spent hours in my room listening to this albumLove Tristan & Isolde

Xerxes I. At the start of Handel's opera about him, he sings this, which is quite romantic:
"Tender and beautiful fronds
of my beloved plane tree,
let Fate smile upon you.
May thunder, lightning, and storms
never disturb your dear peace,
nor may you by blowing winds be profaned.
Never was a shade
of any plant
dearer and more lovely,
or more sweet."
Plus, his name has x in it twice, which means double points for me, m'wah hah ha
