Hi Everyone:

I don't have much more to add than what has already been said here, but I did just run across this just a minute ago. It seemed fitting and hopefully brings a little positivity and encouragement to those of us who need it right now.

Bed for you my porcine friend, and I hope you don't feel too rough in the morning. Pint of water before bed? G'night.

In summary. When they tell you your drinking only gets worse it never gets better it’s true

I’m pretty much at the end of my tether which is funny because I’ve said that before and kept drinking

I’m ticking all the boxes now including drinking whenever I can regardless of consequences, health is in rapid decline, relationship badly damaged and work are actively trying to Manage me out

Sick of all the hiding shame and lies. I want to feel fee again

I am working up to starting the challenge on Monday

PB <:)>

It's good to see you, and I'm glad that you're steeling yourself to go for the sober life.

Yes, drinking seems to go only one way - always the diminishing returns, and always the story of loss.

But you can turn it all around, and enjoy a more peaceful, fulfilling life. I look forward to seeing you around the threads :)

Yeah sorry ruby.
I won’t be taking up smoking after eight years.
I love exercise too much.

I will be cutting beer down after this week also (every night so far).

I think Ill just have to be a weekend drinker (for now).

I really worry about your moderating, as all the old timers are about me but keep posting. Hope your depression has lifted. <:)>

Had bottle of wine last night but totally refused to buy cigarettes - still SF and back on the wagon. I know I can’t drink -it was late when I the bottle last night else I’d have probably gone to buy another once that had gone (w)
