some great results on here already! weel done everyone on their weightloss and fitness
My home weigh in on Sunday was drastic but today the scales report I have lost 6 1/2 pounds of that ..obviously just a kind of post Christmas bloat on Sunday morning then.
Anyway went to SW on Wednesday so back on it.
Been to gym every day and done something/anything really. HIT classes weights, old school aerobics, bootcamp and PT sessions so feeling a bit better about me myself and I. Its the (over ) eating that needs the work so gonna sit with my SW book ad see how it all works and get some meal planning done.
You are all so encouraging and positive thank you.
Sheila I cannot see another tough mudder -what about you ? another London marathon?

Well done on the weight loss and the gym sandy. ;)? I've started going to classes too, my legs are still sore from yesterday but I'm getting quite a buzz out of it.

Hi everyone and good luck with the weight loss and exercise. :\:

Aye take it Sandy! \:)/

I've weighed in and lost 3lbs. Like Sandy suspects, I reckon most of that is just the Christmas bloat, but I too am taking it! \:)/

Well done with the gym Rubes.

No exercise here as still unwell. :(

Weigh in this morning (I started on Monday, but Sunday's a better day to review progress). 4lb down, which is a chihuahua (if it hasn't been eating too may pies).

Been dry since Jan1.

I find it incredible that despite consuming thousands of calories in alcohol a week when I drink I still gain weight when I stop.Ok I do have the odd extra treat but I was also prone to binge eat when drinking.Have put half a stone on and can feel it, although obviously some of that is better hydration some is clearly fat!

I guess the theory that alcohol calories don't count the same is correct!

I’m also a Sunday weigh in and have lost 1.6lb bringing me to 1*3.0lb. \:)/ next target 3lb.

I’m starting in earnest tomorrow, cutting out sweet snacks and exercising more. Quite looking forward to it actually! ()o

Who is in the couch to 5k gang?! I usually use the training plan found below because it gives timings instead of distance, i.e. run for 60 seconds instead of run for 100m. However, I’ve just downloaded an app which also gives timings and I think gives you a coloured in bit when you complete the runs which I might use instead, I’m a sucker for positive reinforcement! :D

On which note...

Fresh! Good to see you, looking forward to hearing the results of Newt beating you in your fitbit challenge later in the week! He’s ditched half his name so he’s lighter than he used to be which I’m fairly sure is an advantage! ()o

Sheila, go easy there in France but remember you’ve got to have some treats too! ;)?

Sandy, way to go with the bloat weight! You’re an unstoppable machine!

Ruby I know what you mean about the chocolates. Eat them all now and start next week! Spats, focus on being well and eat all the comfort food you need to! Start when illness leaves. <:)>

MTglass, well done on January sobriety! Keep it up and I’m sure you’ll see a change on the scales!

Martha! Are you there couchmate? Time to stop slobbing tomorrow missus!
