On the fitness front, managed an 8 Mile run in preparation for next weeks 1/2. It'll have to do. Dogs were,,,,okay with it, didn't appreciate lap two but sucked it up. The older dog (7 years old) was limping a bit when we got home but fine today. I could have done another lap to make it up to 11 miles, might have felt it a bit though.

Saturday was a home weigh in, not at WW studio, Friday was poor decisions, as was Saturday. Makes 8 miles sunday afternoon seem okay.

Weigh in today (w) Must admit I’m having thoughts of not going and to take a break from SW for a while. But I know I’ll regret it. So I’ll knuckle down and quietly sneak into group

Keep on keeping on. It might be your last chance. :)

I've been struggling a bit this week. Not tracking properly and eating Heroes and Celebrations in my usual binge style way. Weigh in will not be good but at least I'm off the booze. Day 55. \:)/

I’ve also gained, 1.2lb. I seem incapable of putting down the chocolate, cakes, doughnuts etc. I’m just surprised it wasn’t more. Off to roast some vegetables.

Spats, fresh, pork. My commiserations. <:)>

So today's 1/2 mara was 2:12. Pretty much dead on 10 minute miles. Good atmosphere, some headwind in places.
Calories out? The watch reckoned nearly 2000. Put back in? Pizza from Prezzo. Likely calorie balance.

Saturday weigh in was 2.5lb in the wrong direction.

Me too sg, only I’ve gained 10lbs in the (nearly) 3 months I’ve been here in France

We come back this weekend and I’ll get back on 5:2 as of Monday.

Our plans are to spend 3 months here, 3 months in the uk, and so on, a recipe for a yoyo lifestyle.
When I’m here I eat as if I’m in holiday mode, but who has 3 month holidays? We spend time here just as we do in the uk.

Alcohol was always my nemesis in France, now it’s Magnums, croissants, bread, pastries, chocolate, sweets etc ....
I feel fat

Monday morning is when I start to get back on track ;)?

What was the score spats? It's my weigh in tomorrow.
Exercise wise this week has been, that 1/2 marathon on Sunday, 1 hour swim Tuesday, 30 minute ride Wednesday, 7 mile run Thursday.

Half pound on (w) . Only just started exercise again - walk around the lake yesterday.
Been very tired last couple of days sort of sluggish, not eaten much plus no exercise has probably caused this. Sleeping fine though. Not drinking or smoking ;)?

1/2 lb is practically nothing. Don't beat yourself up.
I'll check in in a bit WRT the weight. I'm up early. Going to Parkrun later to get soaked and meet up with former colleague.

Looks quick enough to me pork.

I'm 1/2 lb down. 17 3. Considering the badness of the week, that's okay.

On it next week. Swim Tuesday, running club Thursday, probably cycle Wednesday. Other stuff as well but not firmed up.
With better food n drink choices.

I’ve stayed the same. Woot! \:)/

I need to look at my eating too seismic, the sheer amount of rubbish I’m putting away just now is scary. Ditch the snacks and proper meals for me next week. ()o

Good to see you on it pork. ;)?

Half on is nowt spats, hold my hand and we’ll cautiously exercise together! Hmm, have just remembered I could go to gym class in a bit. Or I could lie in the sofa and eat some delicious wafer biscuits from lidl polish week.

Sheilapop! So good to see you! \:)/ <:)> yes, that does sound like a recipe for disaster, hopping between diet and a free for all. Now that you have knocked your nemesis on the head you will have to treat France less like a holiday and more like, umm, a spa, where you binge on fresh fruits rather than croissants, delicious green smoothies rather than great tart tatin! Okay I’m trying hard but that doesn’t actually sound like what I would want to do so I’m all out of ideas lovely! Stick around tho, you’ve done it before and you will do it again! :D

Freshie, Sue, newty, Martha, winkler, have a Sunday cheerleader \:)/

Love to all,
Sgx

Hi

Just joined the 7 day thread (day 1) and I’m a bit of a fat mess. Figure if I’m going to make positive changes, I can do more for my diet than just quit the booze.
I’m 14-11 which is obese eek.
Amazing run Pork, currently I couldn’t do 5k in 37 mins let alone 5 miles but hey I’ll get quicker. It’s all good from now on in ;)?
I’m hungover hence day 1. Sat and ate some chocolates and binge watched Netflix. Really can’t face doing anything too strenuous today but I will use the time to make plans for this week.

Hope
