...... yes, that does sound like a recipe for disaster, hopping between diet and a free for all. Now that you have knocked your nemesis on the head you will have to treat France less like a holiday and more like, umm, a spa, where you binge on fresh fruits rather than croissants, delicious green smoothies rather than great tart tatin! Okay I’m trying hard but that doesn’t actually sound like what I would want to do so I’m all out of ideas lovely! Stick around tho, you’ve done it before and you will do it again! :D
Thanks sg <:)>

Before I went to France i’d reached my goal weight of 130lbs after being my heaviest weight ever of 140lbs!
I followed the 5:2 and it took me from April through to the end of June. It was a nice slow and steady weight loss and I felt chuffed.

Now I’ve gotta do it all again

This mornings weigh in I was 140.8lbs .... I will do this ;)?

Hi Martha,
I’ve been away and stayed off alcohol but I ate for England

Great job staying off the booze (::) It’s Not easy when you’re on holiday but you’ve proved it’s doable ;)?

1lb loss. 17 2. I keep hovering around this weight.
So, last Saturday, parkrun and run home, 40 mins
Monday ride, 40 mins
Tuesday swim, 60 mins
Thursday run, 60 mins
Friday ride to and from work, 105 mins.

Only 1lb off. Plainly some poor choices cos that loss should be greater. WW scores on the doors -150 points. Must work on balancing out at zero.

Maybe it’s no alcohol for 2 weeks?
I did run 10k this morning...
Anyway 13st 7lbs exactly 3st lighter than I was on the 11th May.
Keep on

3st off since May is fab. \:)/

Sorry about the not quite so good weigh ins seismic and sue. Tis 80% calorie intake and only 20% exercise so they say, you can’t outrun a bad diet.

I’m 2.8lb on, harrumph. Deservedly so as I have had visitors and a LOT of greasy takeaways this week. I’m almost craving broccoli lol. Hey ho, it is what it is.

Martha, alcohol free on holiday is most definitely the main thing, well done you. \:)/

Sheila <:)>

Hope209, how has your week been? Welcome to Darcy’s and also to bright eye. Little steps, do what you can when you can and you’ll see a difference. Quitting the drink has to be the first priority and a healthier lifestyle can quite naturally follow on! <:)>

Gonna make soup tonight I think. ()o

I weigh on Sunday but I don’t suppose it matters which day really. Well done on the 5:2! Was it a 5 or was it a 2?!

I’ve made soup. And healthy snacks for work. And I almost managed to buy no chocolate at all when I did my weekly shop, but I couldn’t resist things that look like they are probably creme eggs but for Halloween, and also bought a caramel sponge pudding thing which is not at all the sort of thing I usually buy. I haven't eaten either of them today though so a much better day than I’ve had recently. ()o

Keep at it guys. ;)?

Sg I admire your willpower.... if there's chocolate or anything I'm trying not to eat in the house, I eat it  If I don't buy it I'm ok.

I do my weekly shop on line which I find is a great help as I'm not seeing all the naughty stuff in the aisles they' try to tempt folk with.
I worked my way through my list of 'favourites' yesterday and I admit I did hesitate when I came to the Magnums but I scrolled on by ;)?

Happy Tuesday folks <:)>

I had grand designs for lots of exercise this week, however, sore throat and rotten cold have scuppered those plans.

On the flipside, This Naked Mind is prompting some better thoughts and choices. Four AF days on the bounce and four WW blue dots. ;)
Should be falling off. I might try for an easy spin tomorrow, I am WW negative this week so could do with clawing back with fitpoints. However, it's 'only' -40, hardly anything compared to -140.

Some will hate me for this but,,,,,I've been managing to have just two squares of choc after dinner/later in the evening.

Hoping Saturday weigh in is good.

That's brilliant Sue, we'll done (::) (::)

I started back on 5:2 on Monday this week, had 2 fast days, Wednesday and yesterday, and I've gone from 142.2 on Monday morning down 136.6 this morning.
It's a bit false though really as I've got this weekend of eating normally before I weigh in again on Monday, but I've definitely lost a couple of lbs I reckon ;)?

Pork 1lb is nothing, our bodies fluctuate, it'll be gone tomorrow ;)?

Seismic, staying the same is a result ;)?
