Who is in the couch to 5k gang?!
Me! :D That plan looks good, SG. I used this one, last year. I'll probably use it again (since I already have it printed out) and then, after nine weeks, keep working towards the 10k yours leads to, if this is ok?

Bring it on! ;)?

Happens to the best of us Mick! :D

Re Couch 2 5k, yes I am normally into this Silv but the timing isn't right at the moment. (I mean, 5k in 3 hours 45 minutes is a bit of a stretch)! :D

Eech, if you’ve got a gammy leg Newt jogging along might not be best... tho if that’s the number of normal steps you’re doing ya might be ok! Impressive.

Jayjay, That’s the couch to 5k that I’ve downloaded an app for and that I think I’m gonna use! Kismet.

I had a ‘six month for a slightly skinnier silvergirl scheme’ in my mind but yesterday discovered I may have an event in 12 weeks which I would prefer slinky svelte sg to attend. Hmm, the game is on!

Tempted to buy a rowing machine in Lidl, for the off jog days. 🤔

I suppose I could spice up my walks in March by including the couch to 5k running a bit/walking a bit and ditching the bag, I'll think about it

Impressive stats Newt I have gone over 50k in a day a few times but not for a while and its hard work!

I also suffer knee injury issues for me the Hoka shoes really help with there max cushion.

I’ve only ever done 25000 steps once since I got my fitbit about 4 years ago!

I’ve been for my run! \:)/ Early doors and still too dark really to venture round the unlit cycle paths so stayed on the frosty pavements. However, week one run one completed! \/

Soooo who can I nag?!

Martha?
Sandy?
Jayjayjayjayechoechoechoecho...?
Fiz?
AmyJean?
Katey?
Jj123?
Winkler?
Sue?

Anyhow that’s me, quick wash then work.

Ooh, it hurts to say it, SG, but nag away! I'm on nights this week and was planning to start running, this afternoon. Got up an hour ago but it's still blowing a force 8, wheelie-bins-in-the-air hooley. But if I can get out there soon, I will; promise! Otherwise it'll be a Wednesday start for me.

Well done for getting your first run done! ;)? (::)

That's an impressive mileage, Newt ;)?

It was wild out there, but the rain had stopped, thankfully.

Time for a bath before dinner/breakfast :D

Yes! My work here is done! Nagging works!
AND I made a mod swear. Sweat. Swear. Both. Sweet! ()o

Well done on going out. I contemplated a walk at lunch but one look out the window put paid to that idea! Have logged all my food in to MyFitnessPal and, disappointingly, have eaten pretty much all of the exercise calories I gained today. Hey ho, tomorrow’s another day.

Ps MARTHA! Get off the sofa and pound that pavement! Nag nag naggity nag. :D  <:)>

Shame about the calories, SG, but at least the jogging cancelled out the food \:)/

Off to work soon, to burn calories by humping boxes of food about. Cheese and butters are heavy :D

Did 7 k at Cani-Fit tonight nearly killed me in the wind and rain. Only the second one I’ve ever done. Spoiled it by eating my body weight In fruit pastilles.
Good luck with the couch to 5k guys I did it this summer and had Sanjeev (navid from still game) as my coach.
Go guys.

SG sounds like you’re doing brill, thanks for the nag, I needed it. I weighed in yesterday and have put 1 lb on, but I’ve been eating like it’s going out of fashion. Back on it today. 🙄
