Good idea, I'm going to India for next Christmas. :D went to my favourite charity shop, full of Xmas tat, hate red and green.

I wouldn't mind but the run up is a month or two, I'm turning the radio off for the next month.

Good idea ;)?

Neighbours over the road thought it a good idea to deck their place with loads of twinkling lights yesterday. Can't escape it in me own home now - it's shining in me windows

I'll send you the wire cutters TC, no forget that, I'll come and do it myself.

I've thought of one good thing about Christmas - the food - but then there's the diet!

Shopping  What a nightmare? I have to eat and I just want to get my normal stuff, but that's not an option anymore it seems. Stores are now full of "luxury" (that's more expensive to you and me) items and glittery plastic tatt (straight to landfill Jan 2nd). Trying to find everyday essentials is a nightmare. While I'm in mid-rant - why do strangers feel it's ok to ask me if I've finished all my Christmas shopping and what I'm doing for Christmas? Mind your own business. I'm revolting.

Bah humbug.

Actually, it IS a bit annoying that in our shop so many aisles have been rearranged to accommodate Christmas tatt seasonal lines ()o

And I agree about all the "So, are you all sorted for Christmas yet?" questions. It's only the 6th December!

You know me, I love Christmas. But I could defect at this rate. I'm revolting too. (But not in the way you meant ;) )

Much more of this shopping scrum and I shall commit a capital offence. Ditherers/kids (especially those with dangerous weapons aka toys in their possession) and men (the ones who stand around like spare parts and just get in the bloody way) should all be banned from shopping areas at this time of year
