Love the doggy pictures Pickles. ;)?

I take it most of us are getting sh!t weather and that's why no-ones posting. <:)> My car's in the garage so my steps are not doing too badly (keep forgetting the step counter), been walking quite a bit to meet friends for coffee etc but no 'nice' walks.

Would love to hear if folks have been out and/or pictures of their walks/animals. Saturday's meant to be dry according to my weather app, hoping to get a nice walk with Jim.

Ruby xx

Yep ;)? Just been in/out trying to dodge the wind and rain  Still, it's given me an opportunity to catch up on household tasks that needed to be done ;)?

Any walking is good, but I know what you mean Ruby. I love getting out for a good old hike in the hills. Nothing beats it ;)?

Hi TC, Ruby, shadow. Lovely photos of your dog:) .

Our younger dog likes to potter around in the garden when it’s raining , I don’t like it too much for her . Yesterday evening daughter and I got caught in the rain ,in the apple field, with the dogs . We were all drenched, and drying dogs off, they were both spikey looking with their fur ,but warmed up with the towels .

Windy out today !
' Normal ' is just a setting on the washing machine .

It stopped raining long enough to get a good walk done today. Over the hills into town and then a walk along the sea front before getting some shopping and having a nice coffee. Turned out lovely and warm too ;)?

Sounds lovely TC, we went for a night walk last night hoping to see another badger, we saw sweet fa but it was a nice walk anyway, did a short walk today, the weather here was lovely but quite autumnal.

Has anyone else been out?/any piccies?

That sounds like a perfect day to me TC, add an ice cream too, lol. I think on that day i cycled out searching for a new bike but came home with a new duvet cover and decent pillow from Dunelms. Then spent the rest of day in bed trying them out

I have mixed feelings about this autumn weather, it is lovely seeing the leaves change and still fairly mild....BUT....it means winter is on its way with darker days boo ! Oh well, just have to make the most of wrapping up and going for walks earlier in the day. I haven't seen a badger in years ;)?

Hope all runners and walkers are well xx

Beautiful pics Nicki :D
Found a local-ish walking group and finally off on first walk with them a week on Sunday - off up to Formby for beach walk - hope weather is reasonable. Also have booked a walk near to Christmas with pub meal afterwards - teetotal of course ;)?

Have given up on the park run for various reasons but just recently there was a nasty incident where someone was viciously assaulted. Although the run is fine when in a group, I have often done it alone when I couldn’t join the group.

Fantastic ! I love the Formby walk, will you be walking in the woods and sand dunes first ? It used to be full of red squirrels, not sure if they are still there. I lost my daughter on that beach when she was a kid, its a flipping long beach too ! We did find her again soon after thankfully lol ;)?

Hope the weather holds out for you all and for the Christmas walk :)

Great to read all your posts,, Pickles how are you getting on are you still managing to get out with your lovely doggies ? I think most places are getting a lot of rain at the moment. Wish it would calm down, its not much fun getting wet when out walking or running ! (Ok i don't do running  )

That's awful Spats. Glad you are sticking to group running now <:)>

Weather forecast was pants (waterproof ones) for today. It's been bloomin' gorgeous. Been out enjoying it and then thought I'd better get back and tackle the dust mountain (shame - would have liked to have stayed out longer).

Hope the dogs are still enjoying their walkies Pickles <:)>

I don't know krk, i just walk in twos or alone with a four legged friend ;)?

Had a good walk this afternoon with daughter and dog around the local bridle paths and wooded paths. Enjoyed looking for squirrels (until arm was nearly pulled off by dog !) and birds, owl boxes etc.

Hope all are well <:)>
