aj <:)> ,hope you and your mum are ok today ,sister too . Anniversaries are something aren’t they . I usually plan a busy day when it’s the anniversary of my brother and father . My brother ‘s anniversary is on OH’s birthday . That was very difficult in the beginning, but now it’s calmed . My father’s is on my brother ‘s birthday. January is usually a long month anyway .

Anyway Happy Valentine Day ❤️..... I packed a little something from daughter and me, we’ll say it’s from the dogs . 2 cards for OH too, I wonder who they are from 🧐.

Rachel I hope today is better and you can look forward to the weekend.

Morning

AJ I hope your mother and sister had a good day.

Pickles I hope the cards for your OH are from the dogs. My husband used to have his own business. We appointed a secretary. Within the first week she was tidying his desk, and handed me some Valentine cards "did you want them back?" "Why? They're not from me." We're (secretary and me) are now planning holidays together. Husband? Is now an ex, and I guess regrets 'things' he did. Sent me a Valentine card this year. Much, MUCH too late.

To do
Walk dog.
Make a succession of booking telephone calls, for instance garage for a service.
Meet up with girl friend to book a holiday (see above!). We had planned to go to China .....
May work an (extra) shift this evening. It was thrown out late last night. I replied, but no one has come back to me. Yet.

Have a good day y'all

They had a lovely day, I think Mum especially enjoyed it because my sister had planned it, afternoon tea etc. Hopefully this may be a sign of things to come. In this case it may ‘never be too late’ .
I don’t know how you cope with your ex Danny and his ploys to win you back, it must be quite satisfying in a way😉 or extremely annoying.

To do :
Work \/
Doggy \/
Work \/
C25k 9/1 \:)/
Essay start❎
Bed

<:)> to all.

Aj. Absolutely right. I always knew I could get him back if I wanted, it's quite satisfying to be proved right, however. I listen to him DRONE on, and think how boring he is. In the old married days, I felt I was the failure because I wasn't interesting enough. When he left, I thought my life was over, because what fun was there without him to provide the excitement? And now.

I spent a meal with a work colleague yesterday. She lives on her own (like me). She talked non stop, mostly gossip I'd heard (from her) several times. I wonder if I have a low thresh hold for boredom. And I didn't much enjoy the food. Learning curve.

Danny you could be describing exactly how. I always felt, although my ex was neither exciting or tried to win me back. And despite never wanting him back I too didn’t know what to do with myself, I felt displaced. I have likened it to grief because that’s how I imagined it felt. Even now I struggle to be in the same room as him, I have never cared less about the ‘other’ woman just the lies and the deceit, I have always had a problem with those two and have always tried to live my life as truthfully as I can and to find out a big chunk of your life was a lie is quite hard to deal with sometimes.
But just like you I am definitely living my best life now 😁

To do:
Work...Spanish pharmacist day
Walk dog

Mums for tea

Au <:)> You know what they say. A woman, without a man, is like a fish without a bycicle.

I picked up an extra shift yesterday (show how willing I am after a lengthy back-to-work chat). Only to have the same manager haul me out with some paperwork for some work provided telephone counselling. I talk a load of rubbish. She's taken me seriously.

To do
Walk dog.
Leave early for work. Football kicks off at 12.30, and I have to be beyond the football for 12.45 work start. Joy.
Finish work and home for the evening. Bliss.

Have a good day y'all. Except aj, who is going to knuckle down and plan her essay, break for a snack, then start writing.

Church for evensong.
D, I was thinking the other day how lovely it is that both birds and church-goers sing at sunrise and then again at sunset, lauds and vespers. I bet ploughmen also sang on their journeys to and from the fields. Did/does anyone else sing at dawn and dusk? I think I might try turning this into a song...

I hope everyone's day is going well ;)?

Hiya Besties

Sorry for the no shows that I've been putting in lately, I've been really busy going out with Wifey loads venturing out into the garden for some tidy ups and grass cutting and decorating/carpet cleaning loads, yesterday I worked myself to a frazzle vax shampoo cleaning one of the bedroom carpets and also applying a second coat of matt emulsion to another bedroom. This morning I had a good long lie-in which was heavenly.

Today we've put the clotheshorses and clothes back in the small bedroom that I've decorated and carpet cleaned that we call the "drying room", Wifey puts the damp washing on the clotheshorses, puts the dehumidifier on boost, closes the door and it's all dry in 24hrs ish.

I hope you've all survived storm Dennis ok

Take care Besties

Nice to see you Jjjj and John (::) good to know you are both well.

It’s going to be a long week for me, boss is off so someone different every day and it means I have to actually work until finish time 6pm. I have also started doing every Wednesday half day while colleague is on maternity leave, which will go towards more holiday leave later on but means getting up and going to work six days a week. Of course it’s only really a pain this week because the 🤬 *A* needs to be in by Thursday.
I found myself so desperate yesterday I was looking at YouTube videos on ‘how to write a 2000 word essay in five hours’ 😂 fourteen hours later and mine still consists of a 200 word introduction that makes no sense whatsoever.
To do:
Work \/
Quick home lunchtime (less than an hour this week) \/
Work \/
Try and fit in some form of reading
Home \/
C25k 9/2 ( not done yesterday) \:)/
Essay
Bed

Morning

John you sound as though you've been having a lovely time out and about.

Jjjjjjjj not sure I'd compare Anglican Church services with bird life, but you go for it.

AJ. An introduction is great. Well done. Have you expanded where you're going to go after the intro? Some operas and musicals are a bit like essays. The prologue is an intro to all their best tunes.

Gentle day today. I've booked a sort-of beauty session at a new venue. See what they're like for eyebrows before I get brave and book waxing.

Have a good day y'all.

Buongiorno,

To do:
Work
Read
Work
With a couple of dog walks in-between

Italian pharmacist day today. Apparently he talks a LOT, again great any other week in fact I’d relish a couple of days to learn some Italian phrases, but please leave me alone in a corner with my books 🤓.

I asked for an extension on the essay, a few days grace, not sure if I have one but I used it to full effect last night and watched Homeland on Netflix 😂. In my defence by the time I’d finished my run/showered and had tea it was 9.30pm, and I really did need to step back and gain perspective.

Have a good day everyone

Ciao

Only me...

To do:
Work half day
Walk doggy
Complete C25k 🥳
Pilates (I have missed a few weeks now, so consequently I’m not really that bothered) I could always try a YouTube version if I were organised enough to fit it in. Decisions decisions 🤔.

Use the time in-between productively.

Hope everyone is doing OK.

Pilates online. I did a you tube yoga thing once with daughter . We sat watching it, following a beginners video, eating some crisps .... and the you tube instructor told us she was proud of us 😊!

I didn’t go to Pilates, I only started going to ‘socialise’ more, and it was OK at first I caught up with someone who I hadn’t seen in years, then she stopped going. I tried talking to a woman who opened a Vegan cafe here, genuinely interested the conversation became a bit one sided, in fact ‘pulling hen’s teeth’ came to mind when the conversation ended with her only answering my questions. Maybe her business is doing well enough not to promote.
And everyone else does that thing of, ‘I’m here with my friend/friends so there’s no way I’m going to even look at you, never mind talk to you’.

People are funny things.

I’m not moaning, just giving myself a get out clause😉

To do:
Work - today the Italian pharmacist again, a bit too ‘touchy’ for my liking and has no concept of ‘space’, bad ‘coffee breath’, and likes the sound of his own voice. I decided that I would just read/note anyway, I shall do the same today.

Deadline for the assignment was today, I am nowhere near done, extension was granted until 5th of March, I only need until Monday, it turns out they are on strike for two weeks anyway.

🤔 turns out I am moaning. Assignment stress.

Ciao

Hope it’s not too stressful,the assignment,aj.

Yes, people can be funny ,in life and on forums too . Drivers can be ‘funny’ ,or rather crazy . There is a car I’ve seen 2x now whilst walking the dogs driving ,and the car is vrooming like they think they are in the Grand Prix ,in a 30 zone !!

Done ,some house work today , no appts , so have been trying to catch up slowly. Must take dogs out in a mo . OH has gone for his frozen shoulder which I’ve been telling him to go and see for weeks . Hopefully it will be ok . School rang about daughter’s medication...I’d forgotten to put it in her lunch box (w)

Hope to doers are ok .
