Thank you dear TC <:)> Yes those unpredictable bad moods can take a lot of navigating and that is putting it politely lol. I think i must have grown up a lot in our years apart. I'm far less reactive these days :? :)

I’m just jumping in here today to share something.

Russell Brand is one of those people who surprises me, and I surprise myself by liking him. He speaks so much sense.

Today I stumbled on this on Facebook, and it really spoke to. (I didn’t share on my own FB, seems maybe a bit... I don’t know... do sharing here is cathartic.

I learnt a lot about relationships from my beloved late partner, who was divorced and had raised children to adulthood, so a lot more emotionally grown-up than me.

I think RB in this video (10 mins) is very wise, and very articulate. I liked it because it expresses some of what I feel I learnt from my partner, and takes that further in more spiritual insights. He touches very briefly on how relationships can echo addiction, when we’re looking for something to feel the sense of void.

Thanks so much, Libby! Like Action, a lot of this really spoke to me in significant ways. It's very thought-provoking and arrived at an appropriate time.

Got to admit, I've often found RB (or the thought of him) irritating in the past, but this was very lucid and useful. My perceptions and prejudice stand corrected!

Thanks again, and it's lovely to see you ;)? \:)/

I just watched this and it is really good! I’m not even in a relationship but it has really articulated what happened in my marriage which is something I’ve been trying to unpick for years. I love it that people can post here and even years later it can help someone else.

I dipped out again… but thank you for the welcome back! :)

Oh… hasn’t the world changed so much since we first joined?!

Writing this on the bus with a noisy 5yo next to me… We’re good, but a lot of stuff to work through, so glad to be back here. One thing I’m going to be careful of is I think my internet dependency is as bad as my wine dependency…

How are you? <:)>

Yes, indeed! And doesn't time fly? 5 years old already?! :D

I'm really glad you're good, Libs, and I'm glad too to see you back here to iron out the drinking problem.

I know what you mean about internet interdependency. It is really important to find the right balance, something I sometimes struggle with.

Thanks, I'm good. Just about to get ready for work.

Have a really great Day 1! \:)/ <:)>
