Morning seveners :\: Day 6 for me. I've got a lot to keep me busy today so will be too tired to do anything else. Joining my walking group again tomorrow night so another positive step.
Have a lovely day all <:)>

Hi. Day one for me and finding things to keep me busy. I'm usually ok until early evening and that seems to be the danger point for me.
Hope to chat to a lot of you soon x
One reason I don't drink is that I want to know when I am having a good time.

Hi everyone, I hope you're ok :)
I'm back on BE after several attempts to quit in June, I could probably say they were half hearted attempts. As maybe I wasn't fully committed. But I need to start writing things down again, im on day 2, just in time for sober July. 😁 I'm back to work on Thursday after being furloughed for the last few months so its really important to me to be clear headed and focused. Im really looking forward to going back.

Right!!!
THIS IS IT! Day One of Seven!
Im going to do this.
For my health. For my kids. For myself.

Good time to make a fresh start Avacado <:)>.

Kraftycat- agree those early evenings are a killer. I try to think ahead to a relaxing alcohol free bedtime- clean sheets and a good book. (Unfortunately doesn't always work ☹). Not easy to put strategies in place at this time of day when busy cooking, cleaning etc etc. But can do these jobs while drinking wine, unfortunately.
Perhaps a quick message on here at that time of day will help???

Good luck and hugs to everyone.
Hattie. X

Hi again. Back at day 1 for this last day of June. If I can make it today. At least it will be 10 days this month AF. I guess small steps are better than no steps. But I can say that 1/3 of this month I did not drink. Gonna give it a go, as I did not sleep well and am having pretty bad anxiety and not feeling very well.

Hi Everyone
Good luck to you all. And congratulations to those who have and nearly have completed their 7 days.

Day 3 for me I’ve already had a visit from the ww, but I sent her on her way. I need this break from booze!

I ate 2 Peanut butter kit kat chunkys yesterday. 2! What a pig! Fingers crossed we all get through today.

Hi all. Good luck with everyone on keeping on going on. I read some posts and some are at different days, but keeping on coming back is always a good thing. I am working at winding down day 1 here, so it will make 10 days not in a row, but 10 days AF this month. Going to start a new month tomorrow and keep on trying to go AF. Keep on thinking things will get way better without drinking.

Hi all,
Just a quick check in as I'm in bed ready for sleep already. Its been a tough day I've been thinking about alcohol pretty much ALL day, i dont know why I always find it so hard on day 3. But eventually I convinced myself 1 day at a time if i dont drink today then at least tomorrow i'll be halfway through the 7 day challenge. So I made it amd tomorrow will be day 4.
I think I'm going to re listen to Allen carrs audio book tomorrow. I'm in the middle of listening to 'quit like a woman' but just not really enjoying it all that much, its not inspiring me.
Well done to everyone on here for battling on
Sleep well,
Avocado x

Day 2 complete. It was quite a good day, woke up happy which to me says my brain is in good shape. It’s past midnight so I suppose I can say on day 3 now.
