Day 1 almost over and am looking ahead to day 2.
The annoying thing is I don't touch a drop during the week, it's the weekend that's my downfall.
Thanks for the support guys.
Hugs to all x

Am with you Wilson and the toddler. Lol
I know I can stay AF through the week, just got to kick the habit at the weekend.
Am hoping this is the start of a very long AF period for me, am back at training which helps loads and I've got a busy few days at work.
In a fit of temper I've also put every wine glass I owned in the glass recycling, am a bit of a snob and will only drink wine from a proper wine glass. There's a method to the madness, honestly :D
I know I can stay out of my usual haunts and my OH is working days this week, so am not home alone at night, just got to stay sober at the weekend.
Hugs to all x

Day 2 over. I think I will wait until later in the evening before I post in future. I am counting my chickens before they hatch.

I usually post after the off licence has closed for the same reason even after a year and a half on this site.

Sorry you've had a tough day pandabear, hope tomorrow is easier <:)>

Well done Wilson. ;)?

Hi everyone, back here again after a year or so away from the site. Day 1 for me and like many others I find the first week really hard. The good news is that i don't feel 100% well today so that will make tonight easier I hope!

Hi Exiled......welcome home <:)> I don’t think we have met, but it’s always good to see someone coming back to try and beat this again. I’m not sure whether the first 7 days are tough because of withdrawal or just because you are stopping drinking but you can get through it.

Anyways you know the script, I just wanted to say welcome <:)>

Thanks Lesians,

Today was easy and I'm off to bed early to read and catch up with some much needed (hopefully high quality) sleep! I know there will be harder days to come, so thanks for the support!

Forgot to log in yesterday. Day 4 now and going well so far, although I need to reset my biological clock. Going to bed at 2am and waking up at 11am, it feels like a waste of a morning.
