Hi everyone,

Day 20. Hanging in there.

Maria, anxiety is a vicious cycle. Alcohol caused it, alcohol makes it worse in the long run, but in the short term, alcohol can ease it very quickly. I'm now going through all this pain and suffering to deal with it without alcohol. It will pass in time, I know it will. Just got to let it.

Thanks for your support Olive, and everyone else ;)?

Tim.

Hi Maria,

Hope you are well this evening. Sending you my good vibes. Yes, I'm feeling much better now. I'm hoping the worst of it has passed. Day 21 now, so I'm off to the 4 week thread tomorrow.

All the best to you and everyone else!

Tim.

Hi Tim, Maria. Just us three here I think (soon to be just me I fear).

My day 20 is almost done. Work stuff still stressing me but hey-ho. Not a lot I can do about it at present.

Tim, It's good to hear that your anxiety is lessening as time goes on. Maria, well done on getting through a difficult day (::)

Ah Olive - please come over - we're growing in numbers next door, and it's great!
We've noone to lose, so you get your sober clogs on and trog on over tomorrow :-)

I'm on day 20 today, but I didn't rush over here from tweakers as I did have one blip day, that taught me a valuable lesson. So onwards and upwards. (::)

Hi Maria and Jassy nice to have company on our journey. I'm very much looking forward to us all moving up to the 4 week thread. Due to Scotland's brilliant licensing laws I have today in the bag as it's after 10 \:)/

Let's see how far we can go!!

P.S Blips are just that nothing more. Like you said- learn from it and keep moving forward.

(Funny how we can be understanding and sympathetic with others in our shoes but treat ourselves like crap and beat ourselves up. I know it's not just me who has these negative attitudes towards self.)

Morning Three Weekers!

Just popped in from the Three Month Challenge to say hi and congratulations to Sarah on her graduation! Fantastic news!

Either my screen is having a funny five minutes or no one has posted on here since early December? If you're on your own here Sarah you might want to think about posting in the next challenge up (or down) for support. Or you can stay on here if others are catching you up and you like the structure of progression!

Anyway, to Sarah and anyone else who's lurking silently… have a great day!

Love
