Good morning tutti.

This the first day of my second month of sobriety so I'll be hanging here for a while.
Mondays are definitely better like this - looking back at the weekend with pride not disappointment.

Hi Musty

Be good to see you. It's been quiet here.

Hi.

I've just completed the 2 to 4 week challenge and looking forward to completing this one.

High liver enzymes and and a fatty liver are keeping me motivated to abstain.

Is this our new home Jake? Two to three months? A long time to settle in and get feet under the table.

Lush lunch. I've just been out for a pub roast. Huge portions. Sat in a sunny garden. What's not to like. Sunny afternoon doze now

Ohh that sounds divine DD! Yum yum.

you can’t beat those relaxing sober sundays, can you?

If we were drinking the weekend would be a blur as we’d be pissed.

I had a lovely steak pie with beef dripping roast potatoes and veg. The pie was from M&S and shortcrust, so a nice treat

Re the theatre, Isn’t there a song on Avenue Q ‘everyone’s a little bit racist?’ I have heard of it from a friend and have watched the recording from a US theatre on youtube. I’m sure it would be a right laugh! i bet it’s great to see in NYC. Have you seen it live DD? I love Prescilla. It’s probably my favourite musical. Someone left the cake out in the rain, i don’t think that I can take it....

Hi Lynn. Hurry up and join us.

Steak pie in shortcrust pastry. But not just any steak pie. This is (I can hear the honey tones even now). What a treat.

Tired and in bed. I've done very little today, except go out for lunch. I consider it my social and charitable duty - supporting my friend who wanted to go out.

Avenue Q. Watch it live!!

Apparently, all tabbies have different markings. Mine is a tabby. She's a character. Since getting my new rescue dog (years ago), she has chosen to live in the garage - and sulk. Good luck with her. Everyone loves kittens.

I've had an interesting morning - glad to be home again now. And lots of fizzy water to drink. Best treat!!

Morning

So, yesterday I was in one of a large chain of hobby shops. I keep all my bank cards in my phone, and realised I'd lost my phone. Shop assistant phones it, and it's been handed in to the next door garden centre. I wonder, as I plod back and forth between shops, if this is god's way of saying 'don't buy the yarn." Last night, I had a good look at the (very pretty) yarn, and it's 4 ply - and I need DK for my pattern. I should have listened to my instincts. This morning, God has scattered my cards everywhere and I can't find them all. Including my bus pass. Is this God saying 'stay at home'? I have an urge to spend the very little money I have. So perhaps it's better not to. Potter in the garden instead maybe

Haha oh no DD

I’m glad people were honest and handed it in, what a nightmare!

Day 32 \:)/

I’m waiting to hear from the cats protection about my kitten. It’s sex is being checked today. I’m due to pick it up Friday, have to sign some paperwork and pay my adoption fee

As soon as I heard 'it was found in the ladies', yup. Put it down to wash and dry my hands.

Found the cards now. They were being naughty together under my bed.
