Booyah \:)/
365 \:)/
Who’d of thought that this old alcoholic could have done it? Not one person who knows me personally believed I could, (including myself), yet, not one person in here doubted me. <:)>
I can’t thank you all enough, the support, encouragement, fantastic advice, and shoulder to cry on when needed, has been fantastic. I love this site, and all of you on here, you are the most amazing people, and I am chuffed to bits to be celebrating, my 365 days with you all.
Cowboy, thank you for being on the sidelines, with me, again.
Ed, I love a battenburgh.
Freshie, it’s been a fantastic ride this last one hundred days, thanks for doing it with me.
Mooths, every step of the way, you’ve been there, I look forward to your 365.
There are far too many to name, this site is wonderful, thank you all.
Haha, I feel like I’m getting an award (well I am, I guess, it’s called freedom)

Aw, Fiz, you are sweet. No, you must take up your hard-won throne in the Beyonders thread, and keep one warm for me! I shall keep posting away here, waving the flag for the 10.5-monthers, and I'll dip my toe more regularly in the Road to Abstinence thread too.

What is your exact 365 date?

Well, I calculate that 31st December will be my 365th day because I stopped on 1st Jan. This evening I looked at all the leftover wine in the fridge from the weekend’s dinner party and felt not the slightest urge to drink it. Made me realise how far I’ve come. And there was lots available for cooking a delicious sauce to go with my salmon - alcohol definitely boiled off!

Nearly there Mooths. (::)
It’s a lovely feeling when you realise you can be around alcohol and feel no desire to drink any of it.
Have a lovey day. <:)>

Thanks, guys! More leftover wine and Madeira used for cooking tonight - and two guiltless bottles in the recycling now.
