Just to say Happy New Year to all on BE and very best wishes for 2012 \:)/
Tonight will be 26 weeks/six months to the day since I had a drink - trust me to have a significant day on New Years evening ;)
One reason I don't drink is that I want to know when I am having a good time.

Anyone seen Tim? He hasn't posted for a while and hasn't replied to an email. I know he was having internet issues, just a little worried.

Morning Tim.

Hugs to Pan, Yorkie, Shelsey, Clare and Reggie.

We seem to be missing a few people? I hate missing people out. I know how important it is to feel included.

I read the last of Linda's posts. Linda was such a huge support to many and a wonderful first contact. I think much of it was a misunderstanding. But I've heard that there were other PM's that weren't nice and that is shameful. We are all here to heal. Of course not everyone will get on but to wilfully disrupt another is outrageous.

Anyhow. Hope you all enjoyed your New Years. It was my wedding anniversary as well so a very special day

Hugs to you all xxx

Happy anniversary, GFA. Eve or day? I imagine if you got married on NYDay, a lot of your guests would not have been their jolly selves. :D
I had to to go out around 10 am yesterday morning.(NYD) Practically had the roads to myself. Nice and peaceful.
How's the weather in Sydney? We are expecting 40 degrees today. Yuk! All the curtains and blinds are shut to try to keep the heat out. I don't have to go anywhere today and dinner is already cooked, so a lazy day today.

Hi to everyone, stay strong.

I have a question for everyone. I am 12 weeks sober but the last few days, I have been waking up tentatively, to see if I am hung over or not. Then I remember, I can't be because I don't drink. Also I am finding my memory a bit hazy and I usually have a really good memory. I know it can be put down to PAWS but just wondering if anyone else experienced that at about 3 months?

Firstly congratulations my beautiful Cazz!!! Will you be joining us here now then?

I felt all kinds of weird around the 3 month mark. PAWS is meant to peak between 3 and 6 months so just be easy on yourself over the next 12 weeks. A sprig of Rosemary boiled in water every day may help. Or dose up on your B vitamins and potassium. If your not a banana girl watercress is in season at the moment and it's yum.

Happy belated anniversary KK (::) (::) (::)

Stupid phone. I missed you earlier post Cazz!

We were married on New Years Day Cazz. We only had our children the celebrant and one other witness with us and were on a snowy mountain side in Canada. We had a party back in Aus but already having 3 kids between us we wanted them to feel the importance of us starting our new life as a family. New Years Day seemed the perfect time to do that. It's also the only way I could get a white wedding with 3 kids in tow ;)?

We are high 20's today. I saw you have fire warnings. Not good. Keep safe. xxx

Hi Cazzm... almost three months for you! that's fantastic!! you're really going great guns! <:)> Enjoy your lazy day and keep cool.
It's low 30's for us today so we're getting a bit of relief from the hot weather last week. I'm going to water some pot plants and clean up the bbq (urkk) and will be taking it easy too. Work tomorrow (also urkk).

GFA.. happy anniversary! Your wedding sounded wonderful! (::) Enjoy your day too. Back to studies next week? How are you feeling about that?

Quick Hi to Pan... not caught up with you for a little while. <:)>

Hi Pajero,
Lol, bit extreme when being in the low 30's is relief from the heat.

GFA, your wedding day sounds beautiful, wish I was there right now. Mine was a feb day, 42 degrees and very windy. The hair dresser used nearly a whole can of hairspray on me in the hopes of keeping the curls in. I remember sitting at the reception with my wedding dress hoisted up and tucked between my legs. ( there was a floor length tablecloth to hide my indiscretion.) not a very graceful bride.
And bugs. They got between the material and the lace on my dress. Wanted to be part of the garden ceremony.
Ahh.......memories.

Well it's now 12.30 pm. I guess I should have a shower and get dressed.
See you all later <:)> cazz

GFA, just made some juice. Orange, apple, cucumber, ginger, basil and ROSEMARY. Mixed with miner water. Yum.

Awesome!

I just made these http://healthyblenderrecipes.com/recipe ... c_mojitos/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

They were SO refreshing and yummy! Coles sells agave.

How was your juice? Haven't tried that mix.

Hey Pajero. I love low 30's ;)? Was just driving behind a Pajero and couldn't help but smile.

I have cert iv workplace assessment coming up. Really not up my street but as I train others I have to have it

I'm sure our lovely Pan will be along a bit later ;)?

Well here I am on 2nd January - move back to West Sussex tomorrow. Not sure why I am being taken home after such a long time, but trust it is the right move for me.

Am actually very excited - might not be so in the reality! But I am going to rediscover the countryside and meditate every day. I am also going to practice the guitar and get back to writing again.

I hope you are all having a wonderful 2012 - let us face it together SOBER!!! Sod you alcohol, you are SO last year.
