Turkey breast, pigs in blankets, stuffing balls, roasties, yorkies, vegetables.

The favourite part for me being the piggy’s ;)?

Merry Christmas everyone ;)? <:)>
I'm in bed sober \:)/ I really did today an hour at a time and although it's been stressful for the past week I still did it alcohol free.
Well done Maria, it feels good doesn't it (::)
Tomorrow is another day but I'm glad to be waking up hangover free.

I bloody did it too! First Xmas day in literally years without a drink. Like you katey, I had to do one hour at a time. Soooo close at points, father in law brought me some lovely champagne and it played on my mind at various points of the day. But I made it. Well done us xxxx

All good and sober with me, thank goodness. I was given booze as gifts  but I'll be giving it away to friends over the next few days.

Maria, yes I did it! Been very odd but in a good way although I’d be lying if I said I didn’t come extremely close at times. I just kept saying to myself if I still wanted a drink in an hour, then I’d allow myself one and that tactic seemed to work xxx

A huge well done to everyone for making it through Christmas day. Its so hard for a lot of people, lots of pressure from others at this time of year to 'drink and be merry'. For me it would be 'drink, be ill and kickstart the obsession'. I enjoyed some cold Appletiser with the dinner and a lovely day was had by all ;)? <:)>

Well done everyone who has made it through the last few days, it can be very tricky (although, as ever with our problem, it gets easier with time).

If you planned to be sober but didn’t manage it, try not to be too hard on yourself - a lot of temptation and pressure at this time of year - but also, slightly paradoxically, don’t use it as an excuse i.e. everyone’s doing it - own it and make a plan - maybe next time that plan will work 😀

Best, Blifter
