Hello all,
Well, I’m just back from dog training, it was a little bit awkward when I first walked in, but I get on really well with a couple of the instructors, and one in particular, she used to be one of my main drinking buddies, she broke the ice, she turned and smiled, and said, I thought you were busy, and I said, well I’m not anymore, so she said, smashing, you can help with the newbies that are here for a visit to start next term. After that, everything was just normal, as I left Ali (the woman), followed me out and said, “I never meant to offend or upset you”, I could have said, that’s fine, don’t give it a second thought, but I thought, no, I’m not. So I just turned and looked at her and said, “but you did, you offended and upset me, not to mention humiliate me”, she said, “I’m not that sort of person, it wasn’t intentional”, she never once said sorry, I just shrugged my shoulders and turned away and walked to my van.
I’m glad I went down, I think you’re right, if I’d waited 6 weeks I may have not gone back?
So glad and appreciate having you all. <:)>

 this made me laugh Ed. :lol2:
I don’t believe it! Should we start calling you Victor?
Good luck with it, maybe we could try getting addicted to healthy eating or something good for us, I seem to stop one bad vice and just exchange it for another.

Have a great day everyone.
I had a lovely weekend dancing with my dog.

Thanks Mooths and Fiz

I've got an mri in two weeks as have some neuropathy. Just trying to make sure it's not vaping! I've honestly been thinking about drinking again. I thought I'd feel better but 9 months in I don't think I do. I just don't have any ups (or hangover downs). I don't feel like a craving for it, just not sure I can see the point. I feel like my health is failing anyway.

Hang on in there, our Ed! Are there REALLY any positives to drinking? I struggle to think of any the longer I stay free from it.

Aw Ed, I’m sorry to learn that you are not doing so well. I know what you mean about, not feeling better, I’m on another site and loads of people post stuff about how they feel so much better, while I think, what am I doing wrong? why am I not getting these moments? But we all recover differently, and at different speeds, I’ve decided I’m going to try for two year before I experience this wonderful sober feeling. But, although, I’ve not had any whoosh I feel fantastic moments, I do feel better than I did 9 months ago, even if some days, it’s just, I’m proud of myself for not making a tit of myself, again!
Good luck with your scan, I hope they find out what the problem is, whatever is wrong, best face it, head on and sober. <:)>

Thanks fiz, Mooths. I'm feeling better. My house is in central Bristol and I was there for a few weeks and I just find cities massively stressful. I'm now at my parents in the countryside and alot of my symptoms have calmed down. I'm also 4 days vape free and I think that has been giving me symptoms that imitate neuropathy. I'm off catsitting in Edinburgh for a couple of weeks. During the fringe festival. Always wanted to go. Perfect timing!

Thanks for being there. Xx

Morning all.

Ed, glad to hear you’re feeling a bit better, cities totally stress me, I can manage 3 days max then start getting anxiety attacks, I also start feeling claustrophobic, I much prefer the country.
I never used the vape things, but one of my sons does, I often wonder what effect it is having on him? It has to have some sort of side effect? I don’t know much about them, other than, I’m glad my son isn’t smoking, but I wish he would quit vaping too.
Enjoy your time in the country, with your parents, and in Edinburgh, you won’t be that far away from me, I’m just in the borders. Have a lovely time, and I think you are turning into a bit of a cat whisperer.

Good morning 9ers
In a couple of weeks time I will be ticking off my last 100 days to hit my 365 target 🎯 first, I can’t believe I’ve gotten as far as I have, I think it must be 7 or 8 year since I stayed af for this long, that in itself is great, but 1 whole year is my true goal. Well, I’ve been thinking, it might be a nice idea to start the 100 day challenge again on day 265? That way, it might help keep me on track and hopefully inspire me a little bit more. Just thought I’d share that with you guys.
Have a good day y’all. <:)>
