#37 can't wait for tomorrow to get started, for some reason I think this is going to be a really good year for me - only because the last 3 have been a bit :( , but a new year and a new challenge. What I am not sure of, is whether I should tell people - what is everyone else doing? xx

Morning all. Cara - I'm telling people I'm doing 'Dry January' (which I am - raising a bit of cash for a charity at the same time, which was also as it happens, a perfect way of telling my mum and others who would suddenly worry if I told them I wasn't drinking just cos it's good for me not to  ) and then I reckon those folks will have got used to me not sharing wine with them etc by the end of the month.......the rest of the year can then take care of itself :)

Looking forward to tomorrow - as you say, a New Beginning and a new year, which I hope is a positive one for us all xxx

Hi Finley, think your right! I am going to say I am giving up for January - everyone gets that anyway. If I get any complaints I will tell them they can sponser me if they want and I will pass the money onto a charity xx

2014 had around 5 drinking days best achievement yet but all with consequences.

Hi to all our Southern Hemisphere folks, already celebrating a year AF past. Happy New Year, and wishing you an AF 2015.

Here I am setting out to have my first Sober New Year's Eve in almost 40 years.

Hi Gerard,
Can I bid for #73 in the 2015 challenge?
