Hi all Day 6 here and feeling good. Love not feeling like crap in the morning. Love not being a drunk. My drinking diary at the end of the year will be able to boast around 35 fails in a year. That means I will have been sober for almost 11 months out of 12.
I think when we fail, like one night after maybe 20 successes, it is important to see the bigger picture. Next year I will aim for maybe 14 fails. I need to be realistic, and if I manage non, if the big "click" happens, then so be it. But for now, i am doing better than i have every done before, and like many of you here, I have been trying for a long time.
Let's not forget the positives sober team. ;)?

Excellent work, Sammie!

I nearly caved yesterday, thinking how nice it would be to have prosecco while decorating the tree  Nice for about ten minutes maybe, followed probably by a wasted weekend of binge drinking. Thank goodness I saw sense. I'm grateful this morning to have no hangover.

With you on day 15, Maria :\:
