Day 18 ;)? . Have to admit this weekend was a real struggle, not the going out socialising side of it but the noise in my head, whether it be from the kids, friends, the wine witch, my own thoughts, by Sunday night I was a bit of a mess and had to hide away in my bedroom for a few hours and let the kids over indulge on their iPads :? Anyways I’m over it now and feeling good again ;)? .

Everyone is doing so bloody well <:)>

Glad you're feeling better again, Sammie. Sometimes just life, never mind the pesky addition of alcohol, can be hard work :x Good for you for riding through it.

Day 18 here. Good morning all 8-)

I think you're further ahead than me, S, so I don't think you're 'only' on 18 :D

Sorry to hear of your struggles Sammie, when those permission thoughts get hold it’s tough. You are doing so well and owe it to yourself to have this better life.

I’m day 23 or day 100 minus 6 🤣. You know my mindset is absolutely solid at the moment and that feels good. I know too well though that things can change and that’s why I’m going to really enjoy today because those good days build good sober memories. I have a big do tonight, dressed as a inflatable turkey, for part of the evening I hasten to add, and I’m really looking forward to it. I’ve been given this chance again to rid myself of this awful addictive substance and I’m taking it big time. It’s makes me cringe watching people behaving stupidly under the influence because I know I’d be right in the thick of it. I still laugh my socks off and belly laughs are good for the soul but I am in control and don’t look a total prat.

Anyway loads to do again, golf.....again, Pilates.....again, and then a turkey to be 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Life’s good ❤️❤️❤️

Well done getting through the weekend Sammie. I know it’s really hard sometimes, I’m struggling a bit myself tonight ... the wine witch has been whispering to me all day today .... hopefully it will be a bit easier tomorrow

Great work Wilson! \:)/

I'm on day 19, I think.
Feeling a bit 'low' but not sure why. No down to a lack of alcohol, I shouldn't think. Hope everyone has a good Wednesday.

Not cheating. Some days you're going to be ill. Nothing cheaty about that! I'm not feeling well today either and can't think of anything worse than wine right now, but it's just an unexpected bonus of feeling nauseous

Day 21.
Lynn I’m totally where you are, I’m in a low mood, I feel tired and tearful and I just don’t know why, it’s been like this for a few days now and I just don’t know how to snap out of this funk - it’s doing my head in even more and making me want to have a drink to ‘feel better’ and numb things gggggrrrrrrrr :x I’ve been short and snappish with my kids which makes me feel even worse as well.
