Good morning. Day 17 for me. I'm still feeling depressed, anxious, empty and tired.

To be honest, I can't wait until Christmas and New Year are over as I always get more sad than normal this time of year. Today is the Winter solstace so it is literally the darkest day of the year and the cold, dark and bleakness just knaw away at me at this time of year.
Not given up on giving up.

I completely understand this Londoner, it’s a very emotional time of year. I struggle with my feelings around this time and last year had a complete emotional breakdown at Xmas because I didn’t talk to anyone. I do love Xmas but I am also finding it refreshing that more and more people admit that it’s not the be all and end all. It opens the doors then for real conversations and to be able to say that I’m not enjoying all the pressure. I’m sure we can all support each other through the season.

Celebrating my 6 month sober today. My mum has gone away for Xmas and I did cry, completely irrational I know but still finding my emotional feet at the moment. I can tell you that it is so worth it though.

Not irrational at all, Button! Big hug from me as I would have cried too (if that's irrational, I'm cool with it ;) ) <:)>

And a massive (::) (::) (::) for reaching 6 months. Nice one!
