Morning Jj, what a weekend you’ve had. Sadly I’m well into your new decade, in fact I’m just planning what I shall do for the next big one. OMG how did I get to nearly 60. I read your post on the 2/3 months and was so pleased it went well.

Welcome Darren, I’m glad you hopped over here. It can be quiet at times so it’s nice to have you around.

I hope your weekends have gone well Lynn and Sammie. Spats are you back with us? You can do this. Do you go to AA. Perhaps you would benefit from the odd meeting. I do hope that you are back in the fold.

A round of golf for me this morning 🥶🥶 a winter league match. I’ve just had an email to say the course is open 😡. Anyway another fun packed week ahead........literally. I’ve got so much on this week. Life is good today. I pray to whoever who can make this continue. The one thing which stick in my mind from when I last drank was that the anxiety and worry of how much I would have/not have was so strong. I don’t want any of that crap back, I just want to live my life without having to worry about frigging alcohol. Sorry for swearing I just feel strongly about it. So many years of mental torture.

On a lighter note.........happy Monday 😀😀😀😀

It was great sammie really enjoyed it especially the hour after the party when my son and I snuggled on the sofa opening all my presents and chatting about what a great night it was. That was so precious.
Since then I’ve found it tough as cherry said on the three month thread we feel we deserve a treat after achieving something special. Today was a bit easier.

Afternoon. A bit late today. The “do” went well and I got to bed at midnight. Feeling just ok. Not sure why my mood has dipped but I will work through it.

Milestones Jj, really really tough. We think we’re ok and we got through it and them wham it hits us. I’ve caved twice at 12 months and 2 years, so I’m extremely wary. Dig deep my friend.

I’m day 24/100 and I will just keep putting one foot in front of the other <:)>

Yeah guys all plugging away
66/100
Can’t quite believe the numbers are slowly creeping up. Just can’t get enough sleep on holiday visiting family so good time for it. Seeing my dad today who has dementia and lives in a nursing home normally a big trigger but guards are up.
Have a great day everyone
