Ooh. Can only do my very very best. Starting with 7 days, then onto 2-4 weeks (28 days) and then to 39 steps. That’ll get me going and hope to stay strong.

39 it is then ;)?

Welcome Spats! There are other challenges which I found helpful, the 100 day and the 2-3 month. Think I swapped over to the one year challenge when I'd nearly completed 100 days and was feeling reasonably confident about the longer term.

Thanks SS. I'm hoping to move from one challegne to the next. I've achieved 7 days before and actually got through 2 weeks. So my thought process is to keep myself focused and know that there's something to go for when one is completed ()o

Great thinking Spats. It's a cliche, but New Year is a good time for these things!

#101, here and sober. Had an exhausting session with the trauma therapist today. There's a technique called EMDR which he's booked me in for which may help with some unresolved stuff. We didn't talk about the alcohol that much, although he is within a dual diagnosis service so maybe that'll come in at some point.
