Morning all.

We went to see Priscilla a few years ago, Jason Donovan was in it, hilarious. Was the marmalade good Rachel, I cannot imagine going to the effort of making anything so ‘sticky’ 😂 . Pickles how was date with hubby😉 nice that you got some time together.

To do:
Out with dog - maybe not, got ready, poked head through door absolutely chucking it down
Ready for work/face on \/
Leave 8.40am \/
Home lunchtime/walk dog Still chucking it down, plenty of reading done instead
Back to work \/
Read, I’m going to try Arabian Nights today, neither of the assignment questions are enthralling at the moment which takes the shine off reading the books Really enjoying reading this, have managed a lot of reading today \/
Home \/
Finally walked the dog, nice long walk

C25k 4/3 Going to miss this out tonight and go straight to week 5/1 tomorrow
Tea etc

Have a good one everybody. :\: to the boys.

I saw the Jason Donovan tour! With my big girl (late 20s then). We flew round to the stage door, he signed her programme (using her pen) and rushed off. She was over the moon with excitement!

Morning

Not much good about it though. Driving home late last night, was quite scarey. Surface water everywhere - which is difficult to see in the dark.

To day to do
Walk dog - if the weather allows.
Card making session this morning. A mate of mine holds small classes (max of four people). I am well behind with this year's calendar (very late Christmas present).
Gardening (oh haha. I threw that in to see if anyone is awake yet. Gardening? In this weather? I think I'd be scared in a greenhouse, in case the glass gets broken by flying debris, and I'm certainly not tackling digging 'n' stuff).
Friends gig this evening. It's a singalong 1960s stuff. All together now < obladi, oblada that goes wrong oooooh>. Might need to find some words ....

Have a good day y'all, and stay safe

It's still pretty wet in central London. I am sitting in my (damp) stocking feet at work.
I saw The Ocean at the End of the Lane at the National Theatre last night. Very good but a bit tired now as late night.
to do today:
work
change cat litter. (It needs doing more often when the weather's bad, but I swear the cats are pooing more! Mind you Basil is eating for England.)
try and find carpenter to fix back doors. The curtains have been billowing due to gaps.
if it stops raining pick something up from M&S at lunch time.
make dinner?
empty dishwasher
Something else, I am sure...

I hope everyone has a good day.
Rachel

Hello to doers ,

John, hope you and your wife are ok today . Danny ,the show sounds great fun . The last show we saw, daughter and me, was The Lion King , in 2014 , that was a fun time .

Hope Spanish is going well ,aj and the exam of your youngest went ok . The time out with OH was nice ,walking around the city did me some good too . Well the dog visit went well for younger dog ,that we now have him as a foster dog . It seems there aren’t any other candidates atm and if no one can take him, then he will have to be put to sleep. He’s only 7 and was used in a laboratory since he was a puppy. When they are of no use anymore, they are put into a shelter. This is another shelter we looked up ,before Christmas after older dog died and before I realised I had to go to hospital (w) ( that was for the last part, not older dog. )

So anyway we are getting used to his name ,he’s smaller and very affectionate and afraid of the rain . But he has a bark as big as him 🙂. We have just been for a walk, short for the moment with him . It seems to help ,fingers crossed, younger dog’s anxiety . I shall call him ‘Junior’ on here ,which I seem to be anyway if I’m having trouble with his name .

Very dark and windy here too Rachel. Jj,hope the shifts are going well .

Hope it’s a nice evening!
' Normal ' is just a setting on the washing machine .

Sounds like that's going well, Pickles. Maybe you could change his name if you keep him, and are not keen on it? Presumably he didn't have a name in the laboratory :o :(

Basil and LiIly both have several names ;) (And Basil responds to Lily more than Lily does!)

Hi to all.

Leave for work 8.40am 8.45am
Work \/
Dog out lunchtime - this looks like it might be a permanent thing at the moment \/
Back to work \/
Read
Home \/
Dog walk \/
Check on Mum - we now think that this is delayed shock to losing Dad four years ago - lots of triggers in the past few weeks. Although she did seem more herself yesterday, and is going away for the weekend. \/
Food \/
Bed

Hope everyone has a good one.

It’s going well, Rachel. I guess he didn’t have a name. I found his ‘ink’ code inside his ear only yesterday evening:( , I suppose that’s what they are, just a number. His now name suits him 🙂.

Hope your mum has a better day ,aj.

Morning

That's so sad, simply known as a number inked inside his ear.

To done
Sprinted down to an 8am surgery open, to make an appointment
Yesterday a friend took my blood pressure with her home kit, and it's very high. I'm about to have a stroke or heart attack.

Bearing this in mind:

To do
Walk the dog.
See the doc
Lunch
Work.

It really is awfully sad isn't it. Admit it brought a tear to the eye.

Pickles It’s lovely that he gets to now live with a family that loves him ❤️ and that will take care of him. Cannot believe places like that still exist. A friend had a dog that was bred continuously before she took care of her, poor dog was terrified of her own shadow but my friend loved her to bits and made sure her last years were very good ones.

Afternoon. Working fiendishly hard. Feeling very very irritated. (All the wrong things in the book I am indexing that I pointed out and which have been ignored.)
leaving at 4ish.
to do
post office to return things
possibly Boots, but need work through as much lunch hour as possible in order to be able to leave early to
take Basil to vet's for another blood test etc.

If Basil is not too traumatized, I might request a cheap meal out.
I hope everyone's day is going ok.

All is well here.

Hope everyone's ok, I must catch up over the weekend.
Have a great weekend Besties

Morning

That sounds like a really chilled out day John.

Well, it's Saturday and I have the day off. Thanks to night nurse, I slept really well, bit I'm sticking with day nurse again today

Any minute, I shall leap into action. Walk the dog, come home - and get into my onesie. And then I'm staying in for the rest of the day. I might contemplate some gardening, but it is very wet out there Probably just pick up my crochet blanket again. It's been a while - since before Christmas.

Have a good day y'all

Hola, it’s Spanish Pharmacist day \:)/

Sounds like a great plan Danny. Rachel hope your day got better and Basil was OK.

John I’m intrigued, why do you and your wife eat out so often, I only ask because I’m not an eater outer never have been, although as mentioned before I do like breakfast out now and again. Is it a recent thing or have you always done it.

Pickles, Jjj <:)>

To do:
Get to work on time - half day \/
Home \/
Dog walk \/
Try and get washing dry - I may use Mums dryer \/
Read/etc etc \/
Bit of Netflix, Homeland is my new binge watch \/

Adios
