Re: Running and Walking Club

It's been snowing here on and off all day, my car's in the garage, hoping they can fix it, I'm paying almost half it's value in repairs and the mot is due next month but I really need a car.

Got my car fixed, I'm home now and there's not as much snow here but the drive home wasn't fun.
Hope you're all cosied up in front of the fire. I'm going nowhere.

Managed a couple of walks today (without getting too wet and wind blown).
Hope others are able to get out and about too

I did TC
...managed to get out a little and with a bit of determination
, daughter was at home too, so that helped . Dogs were synchronised walking ....and synchronised blowy flappy ears ( I have a photo of them looking up , as I’m halving a dog biscuit, with their ears inside out !)

I got out too TC with Lucky for a moderate walk. It was light showers, sunny and very windy ! Poor boy is a little stiff today.
Pickles it is so funny watching Beagle ears in the strong winds, bless them

Re: Running and Walking Club
Another 8 miles on Wednesday, just light drizzle half way round
Yesterday I was supposed to do a short walk but cried off due to heavy rain/hail
“Social” walk tomorrow - weather permitting
2 more walks planned for next week
Later we have more local walks and one in Shropshire - the Long Mynd, and another in the Peaks - Kinder Scout
Love this walking group - never know where we’re going to be

Re: Running and Walking Club
Thanks to storm following storm, the walking has been a bit 'make a dash for it and hope for the best' lately. Hoping that spring will be much better and I can get some serious leg work done. Stayed at the bottom of the hills today (it's very blowy) but I did have quite a nice walk (and I didn't get rained on)
Hope others are doing well

I'll second the roll on spring, really fed up with winter.

Re: Running and Walking Club
Hi Ruby and TC
Went for an early walk this morning , after daughter went to school . Dogs seemed to enjoy it although younger dog put her nose where it didn’t belong ( a rabbit hole ?) and started to sneeze quite heavily. Maybe some rain water . Yesterday wasn’t so bad weather wise , but Saturday was quite a blast in the afternoon. Daughter and me had managed in the morning to walk to the pharmacy, then to shops with dogs . Quite an adventure for junior, who got excited at the people going in or out of the shop .
Hope you are both well . Other walkers too .
