Oh, I don't think I've ever seen that. I would like to know too as I'll bung in a few quid.

This is part of a post from Tobin from a couple of months ago when BE turned 4. ;)?

I remember the donation link, it's been several years ago now.

I remember this too - from 2 or 3 years ago, asking for any donations to help with the costs of hosting the forum. I didn't, actually, donate anything..... :? Perhaps now the adverts pay for the whole costs and it isn't necessary, as I don't see that request anywhere now. It was a very polite suggestion, nothing too demanding about it!

Thankyou thankyou thankyou Rebecca and SB ! I was gonna go through bank statements as I was convinced there was such a thing but now I know I am NoT GoInG CoMpLeTeLy mAd !!! HE HE WHOO HOO HAA HAAA

  I'm fine now... I suppose if there is no donate option the best alternative is to donate time and support to others on here ...light bulb moment.. ( having said that I've now highlighted my lunacy and may well be steered clear off! )

Can anyone tell me how to search for a phrase in the forum?

If I do a search for "oneword anotherword", with or without quotes, I get posts back which have oneword somewhere in the post and anotherword somewhere in the post. What I want is to find posts which have just the phrase, not both individual words.

Is it possible?

Tornado, I'm pretty sure there is no way to search for a phrase because the search facility uses a table of individual words, not words and phrases. Looks like you'll have to trawl through whatever the search throws up.

I'm sure there must be some info about this somewhere that I've missed....but....

How do I post a picture/image I've picked up from google - or anywhere else for that matter...?? Someone told me about photobucket - so I can use that but that's all! I have found a fab new suit for SOTD as he's naked at the mo....but can't post it!

Thanks!

Hi BBe... and just in case you can't find said picture to upload, look in your downloads file (can be confusing as people tend to go into'My Pictures' thinking it's automatically saved there.. done it loads memory loss and all that :? )
and just in case you have a problem with the size...
Bear with me but

If you have the paint programme open it...
Click on the tab left side of the 'Home ' tab at the top left hand corner..
Go down and click on open...
Find your photo in the pop up window and click open, it should appear in the paint screen
Then look along the 'Home tab bar and you should see the option to 'Resize' click on this
A window should open and and there should be a round option button for resizing by percentage or pixels
Chose Pixels... then in the space marked Vertical type in 500 and the horizontal should automatically fill in with 375 also. or vise versa but the limit is 500.
save as you normally would then start the attachment again using you new resized picture! TA DA!
Feel the Fear....and do it anyway!

quote the bit you want and copy it all into the other thread you really want to post in, this way it keeps the users name. Other way is simply to use the Quote tab above this box and copy and paste the text you want to where you want it to go.

not copied but same principle in just using the quote tab rather than quoting you above

I just posted in the Late Lounge, is there no General chat lounge or could this maybe be renamed to General/Late Lounge. I could just be missing it though....

Thanks Jon.....there's a general chat thread under 'April General chat' on the general recovery board list...it's third down at the mo....it gets updated every month...don't think there are many folks around at the mo though!

Thanks BBE, should still be 37 but hey ho, that number will come soon enough without any more interruptions. Will look at that section but never noticed it used as much as the Late Lounge.

I recently downloaded tapatalk onto my blackberry. Not sure if you mean this? It makes it much easier on the phone than using the browser, but I had to pay £3 for it.

If you send a PM to Tobin, the site owner and administrator, with your new choice of name he will change it for you. You can find him here :

memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=2

EDIT: Sorry, if you aren't used to forums I should have explained. PM = private message. There is a link on that page I linked above allowing you to send a private message to Tobin.

HELP!
Had to change my password after stupidly locking myself out. Now the site will not accept the new password- I have had to send a " lost password" email every time I have logged in since. I know I have put the correct, if new password in every time- it works until I have to log in next time. I have had to this about 6 times so far. I don't want to remain logged in for security reasons.
