Hey everyone!!!! Good job on all the progress made. Is this just a 4-week challenge? Or can we do it in 4-week increments? I was just wondering. Best to everyone!! Keep up the good work and the better life.

Aaron <:)> <:)> Never alone here on BE mate, you know that. Sorry to hear you are feeling low. Well, drinking will do that won't it? It's a bloody tough nut to crack this one, and the only way is to take it a day at a time. Make a promise to yourself that today will be a drink free day. Worry about tomorrow when it comes. Aaron I know you know all this, I'm not trying to teach you to suck eggs ... just want you to see that there is a way forward no matter how bleak it all seems right now. A few days alcohol free will see you feeling a bit brighter I'm sure. Take it easy today if you can. Apparently it's going to be sunny so get outside as much as you can, my mum always swears that fresh air is free prozac! (bit odd my mum .... I take after her obviously!). xx Zoe

Aaron, <:)>

I do know how you feel. Just start over. Dust yourself off and next time you will do better. Each day is a trial it seems but I do know it gets easier as we go cause we learn something each time about ourselves that maybe we didn't see before. I am now on day 3 and day 3 is better than day 0. Don't give up and don't give in. Take it as it comes. Good for you you went for a walk. That will help I think, it always helps me to feel like I am a part of something much bigger than just this little world that I put myself in when I drink. The world is a big place and alot is always going on in it. When drinking takes over all you can see is the crap after you come to that dark place it will always put you in after the initial first one. It is never good. It just makes you think it will be. Such a whore alcohol is  . I know that is a very strong word  but so is what it does to us. Let it go Aaron and come back into the light. It was a slip and that is all. Don't give it any power by feeling guilty or focusing on it too much. Just learn from it and move on. You are OK. You are still trying and that is what counts. I know cause I just slipped too. It will be much better when you get that first week under you. You know how it is. NO GUILT though. It is non productive and slows you progress alot. We are here for you my friend and this too shall pass.

Sending you some hugs and support. I need them too and I am so lucky to have found this wonderful place and all the wonderful people in it.

Hang in there Aaron. We are all with you mate!!!!
